Suxianling Street

Suxianling street is located in Suxian District, Chenzhou City, Hunan Province, starting from Suxianling in the East, bordering on Beijing Guangzhou railway in the west, pomegranate Bay in the South and Feihong bridge in the north. The office is located at No. 8, Yanjiang Road, Chenzhou City. It has jurisdiction over 16 neighborhood committees, including overpass community, Suyuan Road community, gaoshanbei, longchuantou, sipuzhuang, Chenjiawan, Shengli, jiefangli, aotouwan, Feihong Road, Suxian North Road, Suxianling, Bailudong, Nanling villa, liujiaoting and Yangjiaping, with a total area of 5.7 square kilometers and a total population of 100910 (2010), and nearly 200 units under its jurisdiction.

Historical evolution

Suxianling sub district office was founded in 1983. In 1995, Chenzhou was transferred to Suxian District. It is located at No.8 Yanjiang Road, Chenzhou City, covering an area of nearly 10 square kilometers. It is the largest sub district office in Chenzhou City Center. There are 51 streets, including 8 main streets. At present, the office has 138 Street cadres and staff, including 55 office staff. There are Party committee office, administration office, people's Armed Forces Department, Youth League Committee, women's Federation, family planning office, urban management office, comprehensive management office, civil affairs office, finance office, labor security service station, culture station, family planning service station, Statistics Station, operation and management station, etc. In April 1983, some areas were separated from the streets of Nanta and Beihu, and Suxianling street was set up, belonging to Chenzhou City at the county level. In March 1995, it was assigned to Suxian District. on April 27, 2012, the Provincial Department of Civil Affairs issued the reply on the adjustment of administrative divisions of some towns and townships in Suxian District of Chenzhou City (xmxf [2012] No. 17). With the approval of the provincial government, it is agreed to adjust the administrative divisions of some towns and townships in Suxian District. After the adjustment, the Wangxianling neighborhood committee of Suxianling Street will be set up by merging with the two villages of shangbaishui and suoshiqiao in Bailudong town and Chenzhou Vocational College; the Xiangnan college community of Suxianling Street will be set up by merging with the two villages of xiabaishui and Guanshandong in Bailudong town. So far, the jurisdiction of Suxianling street has changed from 18 communities to 16 neighborhood committees.
