Xiushan town

Xiushan Town, belonging to Taojiang County, Yiyang City, Hunan Province, is located at the foot of meinv mountain (Xiushan) on the North Bank of the middle reaches of Zijiang River. It borders Ziyang District of Yiyang City in the East, Sanhe township of Hanshou County in the west, Zijiang in the South and junshanpu township of Hanshou County in the north, with 21900 mu of cultivated land, including 19800 mu of paddy field and 2100 mu of dry soil; and 56200 mu of mountain forest, including 48000 Mu of bamboo forest, 31955 agricultural population, 2955 non-agricultural population and 22480 labor force. In December 1995, Taojiang County began to carry out the reform of township organization, which was mainly based on the withdrawal of districts and the consolidation of townships. Xiushan town was formed by the merger of Xiushan town and sanguanqiao town.

Yuemingshan Village

Yuemingshan village is a combination of yuemingzhou village, Niwan village and baimaozhou village. There are 30 villager groups with a total number of 1061 households and a total population of 3696. The total area of the village is 11.1 square kilometers, including 2153 mu of cultivated land and 4236 mu of mountain forest.

Sanguanqiao Village

Sanguanqiao village is composed of tuiwei village, liangshuiqiao village, sanguanqiao village and yeyawan village. There are 32 villager groups with 964 households and 3562 people. The total area of the village is 10.25 square kilometers, including 1843 mu of cultivated land and 7016 mu of mountain forest.

Badu Village:

Badu village is a combination of the original tanshujie village, hongshanmiao village and Badu village. There are 30 villager groups with a total number of 802 households and a total population of 3068. The total area of the village is 8.98 square kilometers, including 1422 mu of cultivated land and 7502 mu of mountain forest.

Hongshan Village:

Hongshan village is a combination of Shixi village, Hejiawan village and Hongshan village. There are 27 villager groups with a total number of 550 households and a total population of 2279. The total area of the village is 7.27 square kilometers, including 1136 mu of cultivated land and 8282 mu of mountain forest.

Mazhuyuan Village:

Mazhuyuan village is a combination of Shibei village, Guanting village and mazhuyuan village. There are 29 villager groups with 770 households and a total population of 3099. The total area of the village is 8.81 square kilometers, including 1893 mu of cultivated land and 9065 mu of mountain forest.

Lianpenzui Village

Lianpenzui village is a combination of lianpenzui village, xujiazhou village and huangjingzhou village. There are 30 villager groups with 780 households and 3056 people. The total area of the village is 8.42 square kilometers, including 2057 mu of cultivated land and 4627 mu of mountain forest.

Xiushan Village

Shutang village is a combination of the former Shutang village and fenglingang village. There are 20 villager groups with a total number of 495 households and a total population of 1917. Xiushan town is rich in bamboo resources, with an area of 48000 mu of Phyllostachys pubescens and 4200 mu of Dendrocalamus latiflorus and Phyllostachys heterocycla. The 22 representatives attending the hearing fully expressed their opinions and suggestions on the reconstruction and expansion project of the waterworks, indicating their respective views. The hearing opinions and speech records of hearing representatives are summarized as follows: first, I would like to thank the county and town governments for listening to the voice of residents in Xiushan Town, taking people's affairs in mind, and incorporating the water plant construction project into the village and town construction plan, so as to realize the residents' wishes. Second, we hope that the government will strengthen the construction, speed up the construction progress, complete the construction and put it into use as soon as possible.
