Zhuyeping Township

Zhuyeping township is located in the southeast of the county, covering an area of 141 square kilometers (in 2017), with a population of 9973 (in 2017), and a population of 9000 of Bai nationality. Historical evolution

Before 1949, it belonged to Nanzhu township of Cili County and Daquan township of Sangzhi County. In 1952, lounan township of Cili County and yejiaqiao township of Sangzhi County were established respectively. In November 1958, Mihu commune was established, which belonged to Sangzhi County. In 1961, it was divided into zhuyeping, Mihu and ZOUMAPING communes. In 1984, it was established as a township respectively. In the same year, ZOUMAPING Bai township was established.
