Tailugou Township, belonging to Zhangbei County, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province, is located in the southwest of Zhangbei County. It is connected with youlanggou Township in the East, Wanquan County in the south, Dahe Township in the West and Zhangbei Town, mantouying Township and Hailiutu Township in the north. It is 20km away from the people's Government of Zhangbei County, with a total area of 172.32km2.
In 1949, tailugou Township belonged to three districts of Zhangbei County; in 1983, it was changed from tailugou commune to tailugou township.
