Doumuhu street is located 10 kilometers southwest of Dingcheng District, Changde City, closely connected with Wuling town. It is adjacent to Deshan Development Zone of Changde City in the East and Taoyuan County in the West. The total area of the street is 41.2 square kilometers, including 22.33 million mu of cultivated land and 1.0 square kilometers of market towns. It has jurisdiction over 13 administrative villages and 4 neighborhood committees, with a total population of 23318.

Doumuhu street has made a high standard planning for the market town, and has initially formed a community with political, industrial, commercial, trade and cultural characteristics. In 2002, it has been included in the urban development plan of 2000-2020 by the municipal government. It is the storage and logistics center planned by the district government. Taohuayuan Airport is located in the territory, with highways extending in all directions. It is the hub of Changde water, land and air transportation. The expansion of Changde third bridge and Taohuayuan road will speed up the integration of Doumuhu street.
