In September 1979, on the basis of the educated youth center of Meixi commune at that time, Beigang educated youth comprehensive field (educated youth field) was established. In April 1996, Daqiao village, Luowang farm and tea farm of Zhiqing farm were assigned to Yueyang (Chenglingji) economic and Technological Development Zone. It is adjacent to baling East Road in the south, Yueyang Economic and Technological Development Zone in the East, Wangyue village in Beigang Township in the north and suburban village in Wuli Township in the West. In 1997, it covers an area of 2 square kilometers and has a permanent resident population of 6446, of which 93% is agricultural population.
