Lanrong Township
Lanrong township is located in the southeast of Chengbu Miao Autonomous County, Shaoyang City, Hunan Province. It is 47 kilometers away from the county. The northeast and southeast of lanrong township are adjacent to Huangjin township of Xinning County and Guali township of Ziyuan County, Guangxi Province. The northwest and southwest of lanrong township are adjacent to Rulin town and baimaoping Town, covering an area of 139 square kilometers (2017), with a population of 8834 people (2017).

Located at the intersection of Xuefeng mountain range and Wuling mountain range, the township is located in the headwaters of rivers in Southwest Hunan, which is a typical high cold mountain township.
