Niangxi Town, subordinate to Xinshao County, Shaoyang City, Hunan Province, is located in Xinshao county. It was founded in 1953 and is the political, economic and cultural center of Xinshao. The total land area of the town is 63.34 square kilometers (2017), with 19100 mu of cultivated land, including 13600 mu of paddy field.
