Hezi Xixiang
Hezixiang, belonging to Xuanhua District, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province, is located in the west of Xuanhua district. It is bounded by Liuchuan River in the East and faces Chunguang Township, Huangcheng street, tiantaisi street and Nanguan street across the bank. It is bounded by Yanghe River in the South and adjacent to jiangjiatun town of Xuanhua District. It is bordered by shalingzi town and dacanggai town of Xuanhua District in the northwest and yaojiazhuang town of Qiaodong District in the northwest. It is 6 km away from the people's Government of Xuanhua district 3 km, with a total area of 49 square kilometers.
In 1949, hezixiang belonged to the eighth District of Xuanhua district (shalingzi District); in 1984, hezixiang was changed from hezixiang commune to hezixiang. By the end of 2018, the registered residence of Xixiang was 17027. As of June 2020, hezixi township has 12 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the Township People's government is located in hezixi village.
In 2018, there were 37 industrial enterprises in hezixiang, including 4 Enterprises above Designated Size and 38 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In 1949, hezixiang belonged to the eighth District of Xuanhua district (shalingzi District).
In 1958, it belonged to Chunguang commune of Xuanhua town.
In 1961, it separated from Chunguang commune and established Bali commune.
In 1982, XiaBali commune was renamed hezixi commune.
In 1984, hezixi commune was changed into hezixiang.

By the end of 2011, hezixiang had 12 administrative villages under its jurisdiction: hezixi, XiaBali, shangbali, ZHUJIAZHUANG, Yangtai, Chenjiazhuang, xiaodongzhuang, Songjiazhuang, xiaojiafang, shageding, dafangzi and jiulizhai.
As of June 2020, hezixi township has 12 administrative villages: hezixi village, xiaojiafang village, shangbali village, XiaBali village, shageda village, jiulizhai village, Yangtai village, dafangzi village, xiaodongzhuang village, Songjiazhuang village, ZHUJIAZHUANG village and Chenjiazhuang village. The Township People's government is stationed in hezixi village.

Location context
Hezixiang is located in the west of Xuanhua district. In the East, it is bounded by Liuchuan River and faces Chunguang Township, Huangcheng street, tiantaisi street and Nanguan street. In the south, it is bounded by Yanghe River and adjacent to jiangjiatun town of Xuanhua district. In the northwest, it is bordered by shalingzi town and dacanggai town of Xuanhua district. In the northwest, it is adjacent to yaojiazhuang town of Qiaodong district. It is 6.3km away from the people's Government of Xuanhua District, with a total area of 49km2.
topographic features
Hezixiang is located in the northern margin of Xuanhua basin, with high terrain in the north and low terrain in the south. It has all kinds of landforms, such as beaches, plains, hills and so on. In the south of the river beach area, the area is 49 square kilometers from the North Bank of Yanghe River in the south to Jingbao railway in the north, accounting for 23.6% of the total area of hezixiang; in the central plain area, the area is 19.2 square kilometers from the north side of Jingbao railway in the South to Jingzhang highway of National Highway 110 in the north, accounting for 37.6% of the total area of hezixiang; in the northern hilly area, the area is 19.2 square kilometers from the north side of Jingzhang highway of National Highway 110 in the south to the junction with Xuanhua District in the north 2 square kilometers, accounting for 38.8% of the total area of hezixiang; the highest peak of huoshiyao mountain is located in the northeast of Chenjiazhuang village, with an altitude of 854.8 meters; the lowest point is located on the Bank of Yanghe River, with an altitude of 603.0 meters; the peaks in the northern shallow hilly area from east to West are: Daqingshan, laohanshan, Gushan, xiaoshihuo, niulingzi, Yingwang, yinmu, Huashan, Xiaohongshan, xianzhishan, Wohushan Among them, Laohan mountain has the highest altitude of 853.7 meters, Xiaohong mountain has the lowest altitude of 667 meters, and other peaks have an altitude of 700-800 meters.
hydrology
The main rivers in hezixiang are Yanghe River and Liuchuan river. The Yanghe River flows from the southwest of ZHUJIAZHUANG village to the southeast of jiulizhai village, which is 13.5km long; the Liuchuan river flows from the east of XiaBali village to the southeast of jiulizhai village, which is about 5km long.
soil
There are four types of soil in hezixiang: chestnut soil, irrigated and silted soil, meadow soil and paddy soil; chestnut soil is mainly distributed on both sides of Beijing Zhangjiakou highway and the northern hilly area; irrigated and silted soil is mainly distributed in the central plain and the West Bank of Liuchuan River; meadow soil is mainly distributed in the North Bank of Yanghe River; paddy soil is mainly distributed in the North Bank of Yanghe River.
natural disaster
The main natural disasters in hezixiang are drought, flood, hail and wind. In July and September 1979, hail disaster occurred in hezixiang, causing serious losses. A serious wind disaster occurred on June 20, 1985, with 7323 mu of grain and 486 mu of vegetables affected, and more than 1000 trees damaged.

In 2011, the total agricultural output value of hezixiang was 94 million yuan. The main food crops in hezixiang are corn, soybean and potato. In 2011, the sown area of grain in hezixiang was 11929 mu, and 8889 tons of grain were produced, including 8565 tons of corn, 10 tons of soybean and 314 tons of potato. Hezixiang main economic crops for vegetables, varieties are cabbage, cabbage, celery, eggplant, tomatoes, beans, cucumbers and so on.
