Qunfeng town is located in the south of Tianyuan District, Zhuzhou City, Hunan Province, bordering Xiangjiang River in the East, Xiangtan County in the west, and Zhuzhou County in the East and south. Qunfeng town is a town under the jurisdiction of Tianyuan District. It originally belonged to Xiangtan County. In 1959, it was included in the suburb of Zhuzhou City and belonged to leidashi commune. In 1961, it was established as Qunfeng commune. In 1965, it was included in Zhuzhou County. In 1984, it was changed into Qunfeng Township and was established in 1993.
