Dayao Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Liuyang City, Hunan Province, is located in the southeast of Liuyang City, Hunan Province, at the junction of Hunan and Jiangxi provinces and three cities (Ping, Liu and Li). It is an important political, economic and cultural center in the south of Liuyang. Historical evolution
Dayao Town, chengtanjiang, wenjiashi and other surrounding villages and towns in the spring and autumn and Warring States period belong to the boundary of Wu and Chu, and there are related historical sites in each town. According to the ancient Han tombs excavated in the new fireworks factory in biantang village in 2000, Dayao was an active residential area in Liuyang as early as the Qin and Han Dynasties. In the 14th year of Jian'an (206 A.D.) in the Eastern Han Dynasty, Sun Quan analyzed Linxiang county (now Changsha) and established "Liuyang", and Dayao area began to be under the jurisdiction of Liuyang.
