Nanlinqiao town is located in Tongshan County, Hubei Province, at the junction of two counties and one district (Tongshan County, Chongyang County, Xian'an District). It is one of 38 kouzi towns in the city and 200 key market towns in the province. It is located in the suburb of Tongshan County, 15 kilometers away, at the junction of Chongyang road in the West and Xian'an osmanthus in the north. It is the Western Gateway of Tongshan. The town covers an area of 191.04 square kilometers (2017), with a cultivated area of 28900 mu. With a total population of 39854 (in 2017), it has jurisdiction over nanlinqiao, Daping, Shilong, Qinglong, Shimen, Meixi, Luocheng, Meigang, Yushan, Nanlin, ganglu, Gaoqiao, tuandon and Changfeng administrative villages and one street community.

It is located in the suburb of Tongshan County, 15 kilometers away, at the junction of Chongyang road in the West and Xian'an osmanthus in the north. It is the gateway to the west of Tongshan. The town covers an area of 191.04 square kilometers (2017), with a cultivated area of 28900 mu. With a total population of 39854 (in 2017), it governs 13 administrative villages and 1 Street community, including nanlinqiao, Daping, Shilong, Qinglong, Shimen, Meixi, Luocheng, Meigang, Yushan, Nanlin, ganglu, Gaoqiao, tuandon and Changfeng.

National Highway 106 and Beijing Zhuhai Expressway lead through nanlinqiao Town, and the "Ning Zhang" expressway to be built will cross the whole area. Nanlin is only 45 kilometers away from the Beijing Guangzhou railway and only two hours' drive away from the provincial capital Wuhan. It is located in the Wuhan economic circle with convenient transportation conditions and obvious location advantages. There are more than ten kinds of mineral resources such as dolomite, granite, calcite and coal. Phyllostachys pubescens and Cunninghamia lanceolata are rich in resources with large reserves. Agricultural products mainly include high-quality rice, soybean, peanut, corn, sweet potato, rape, all kinds of vegetables, fish and a variety of livestock. At the same time, the land resource reserve is sufficient, which provides a broad space for the development of various industries.
