Qizhou town is subordinate to Qichun County, Hubei Province. It is located at the south end of Qichun County, and looks across the river from huangzhangkou town of Yangxin County in the south. The town center is located at 115 ° 12 ′ E and 30 ° 14 ′ n with an area of 172.86 square kilometers (2017) and a population of 63014 (2017).
In 2013, the gross social product of Qizhou town reached 6.614 billion yuan. It is a medical economic development zone in Hubei Province, a pilot town for comprehensive reform of small towns in Hubei Province, and a demonstration site for China to create civilized small towns. Historical evolution
In the Southern Dynasty, it was established in Qichang county (Qichun county was changed in the Sui Dynasty, southwest of Qichun County in Hubei Province, northwest of Qizhou Town, and moved to Qizhou town in the Southern Song Dynasty).
During the Tang Dynasty, the area under its jurisdiction was about the north of the Yangtze River and the east of the Bahe River in Hubei Province.
Since the establishment of the city in 1262 A.D. in the third year of JINGDING in the Southern Song Dynasty, and from the establishment of the state in the Southern Song Dynasty to the end of the Qing Dynasty, it was the location of the state, the road, the government and the government.
In the early Yuan Dynasty, "Qizhou" was changed to "Qizhou road", with the same clan as the county.
In 1275, the emperor Shizu of the Yuan Dynasty set up the West Xuanfu department in Qizhou road.
In 1277, the emperor Shizu of the Yuan Dynasty changed "Qizhou road" to "Qizhou general manager's office" and set up a recording department. In the 23rd year of the Zhiyuan Dynasty (1286), Zhili was established in Huguang province. More than six years later, it was restored to zhunxidao.
At the end of the Yuan Dynasty, Qizhou road was successively controlled by the "Tianwan" and "Sanyou" regimes of the peasant uprising army.
In 1364, Zhu Yuanzhang destroyed the Han Dynasty and changed "Qizhou road" to "Qizhou government". He ruled Qichun and led the five counties of Qichun, Qishui, Guangji, Huangmei and Luotian.
In the early Ming Dynasty, Qizhou Prefecture was changed. In 1376, the ninth year of Hongwu, the emperor Taizu of Ming Dynasty, Qizhou Prefecture was demoted as a prefecture and attached to the Hu guangbu political department. Jurisdiction about the north of the Yangtze River in Hubei Province, east of Qichun county. Soon after, it was transferred to the Chief Secretary of Henan Province, and Qichun county was removed. The county was led by the state, and five counties were led by the outside. In the 11th year of Hongwu (1378), Qishui county and Luotian County were under the jurisdiction of Qizhou, which was under the jurisdiction of Huangzhou Prefecture. Only Guangji county and Huangmei County were under the jurisdiction of Qizhou.
In 1445, King Zhu zhangang moved to Qizhou from Jianchang, Jiangxi Province, and built King Jing's residence in Qizhou city. King Jing Xian set up his residence in Qizhou, which lasted for ten generations and passed on for 198 years.
In the early Qing Dynasty, Qizhou County, if returned to the end, belonged to Huangzhou Prefecture, which was under the jurisdiction of Hu guangbu political secretary Han huangde Dao.
In 1664, the third year of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty, Qizhou was no longer a county, but still belonged to Huangzhou Prefecture. In that year, Huguang was transformed into Hubei and Hunan provinces, and Qizhou was subordinate to Hubei Province.
Because of its strategic position, Qizhou Wei Dao, Xiajiang Fang Dao and Qizhou camp were set up in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Since the end of the Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China, it has been the county government of Qichun.
After the founding of the Republic of China, Qichun county was restored to Jianghan Road in Hubei Province.
In October 1932, provinces and counties set up administrative regions in China. Luotian, Yingshan, Guangji, Huangmei, Xishui and Qichun all belong to the second administrative region. The office of the inspector general governed Qizhou city and took charge of Qichun County affairs. Later, in 1936, the office of the inspector general moved to Huangzhou.
Since the founding of new China in October 1949, Qizhou town has been subordinate to Qichun county.
