Yangzhen district (town) belongs to Shunyi District of Beijing. It is located in the center of nine towns in the east of Chaobai River in Shunyi district. It is 15 kilometers away from Shunyi city. The town covers an area of 96 square kilometers and has a permanent population of nearly 60000. It has jurisdiction over 3 communities and 42 administrative villages. Yangzhen has been a commodity distribution center in North China since ancient times. It is a famous ancient town in Jingdong. During the reign of Kangxi in the Qing Dynasty, it was listed as one of the eight famous towns in China. At that time, it was called "dayanggezhuang, an ancient town in Jingdong". It is known as "Yijing, Erwei, santongzhou, and the fourth dayanggezhuang in Jingdong". It is one of the first batch of national small towns, the key towns determined by the master plan of Beijing and the key towns planned by Shunyi New Town.
Evolution of organizational system
The famous ancient town in Jingdong was listed as one of the eight famous towns in China during the reign of Kangxi in Qing Dynasty, and was called dayanggezhuang at that time. Yangzhen was developed earlier. In the Tang Dynasty, villages such as Hanshiqiao and Xiaying were established. In the early Qing Dynasty, villages such as anlezhuang and xiapo were formed at the latest. Other villages were established in the early Ming Dynasty. In the early period of the Republic of China, the town was located at the junction of Shunyi and Sanhe, and the subordinate relationship of each village was complex. Hongsi (Village) belongs to Miyun County, erlangmiao and other villages belong to Sanhe County, and the other 10 villages belong to Shunyi County. during the Anti Japanese War, the whole territory belonged to the Anti Japanese areas in the eastern and western parts of Hebei Province, and successively belonged to five Anti Japanese United counties, namely Ji (county) Ping (Valley) mi (cloud), Ping (Valley) mi (cloud) Xing (long), Ping (Valley) San (River) mi (cloud), Ping (Valley) San (River) Ji (county), San (River) Tong (county) Shun (Yi). During the war of liberation, it belonged to Shunyi County. Land reform was carried out in September 1946. In April 1949, it was divided into the Second District of Shunyi County. Yanggezhuang commune was set up in 1958, the township was changed in 1983, the town was established in 1990, and Xiaodian township was incorporated in 1994. In 1996, it covers an area of 62.1 square kilometers and has a population of 37000. It has jurisdiction over 27 villages, including Hongsi, dongtuan, Xiaying, donganzhuang, Hanshiqiao, goudong, xiapo, Erlang temple, LAOZHUANGHU, Yanggezhuang, Yijie, Erjie, Sanjie, zhangjiali, Dongzhuanghu, duzhuang, qijiali, shaiying, Xinzhuangzi, tianjiaying, Gaogezhuang, Wangxinzhuang, Jingshang, zhuoziying, JingTuo, lixinzhuang and songgezhuang Administrative village. In 1997, Shaling township was abolished and merged into Yangzhen Town, forming the present jurisdiction. In 1998, the Yangzhen District Office was established. In 2000, established towns were set up in the regional office of Yangzhen, implementing "one set of people and two brands". Geology and geomorphology
Yangzhen is located in the alluvial plain in the east of Chaobai River. The terrain is high in the northeast and low in the southwest, with an average altitude of 38 meters and a relative elevation difference of 11 meters. In the East and south, it is fluvo cinnamon soil, and in the west, it is wet fluvo aquic soil. Caijia river runs through the middle of the town, enters from goudong, flows through dongtuan and Xiaying, passes through Shunping highway and enters Hanshiqiao reservoir. The central trunk canal runs through the eastern part of the territory, with Chaobai River System in the West and Ji canal system in the East.
natural resources
Hanshiqiao wetland, the only natural reed type wetland in Beijing, is known as "xiaobaiyangdian Lake in the suburb of Beijing". The lush reed marshes and rich biodiversity form the unique wilderness landscape of Beijing suburban plain. Its river course is winding and its shape looks like "dragon" in cursive script. According to the investigation of geological experts and geological data, there are abundant underground hot water resources in daludang area of Jingdong.
