Jinhu Street

Jinhu street belongs to Daye City, Hubei Province. Located in the southwest suburb of Daye City, it is located in 29 ° 57 ′ 00 ″ - 30 ° 4 ′ 20 ″ n, 114 ° 51 ′ 30 ″ - 114 ° 59 ′ 00 ″ e, adjacent to Dajipu town in the East, Yinzu town in the south, Chengui town and Jinshandian town in the West and northwest, Luoqiao street in the north. In 2010, the gross industrial and agricultural output value of Jinhu street was 5.46 billion yuan, the added value of industries above designated scale was 1.78 billion yuan, and the investment in fixed assets was 1.45 billion yuan. The main scenic spots of Jinhu Street include Tonglushan ancient copper mine site, the national key cultural relics protection unit, huangpingshan eco-tourism area, etc. In 2012, it won 14 "top 100 towns" in Hubei Province.

In July 2020, it won the honorary title of national health Township from 2017 to 2019.

Historical evolution

In 1927, when Daye county was divided into districts, it belonged to the Sixth District.

From 1949 to 1951, it belongs to Tongshan Township, Changling district.

In February 1951, Changling district was changed into a new district, which belongs to Tongshan township.

In 1958, when the people's commune was established, it belonged to Tongshan management area of Jinhu people's commune.

In 1962, when the district system was restored, Jinhu people's commune was renamed Jinhu District, and Tongshan Management District was renamed Tongshan people's commune.

In 1975, when the district was withdrawn and merged, Jinhu district was restored to Jinhu people's commune, and Tongshan commune was changed to Tongshan brigade, which was called ma.

In 1979, Tonglushan town was built under the jurisdiction of Daye Jinhu commune.

In 1984, the system reform changed Jinhu people's commune into Jinhu Township, and Tonglushan town was separated from Jinhu township. After that, the place or district, commune or township, machao market town has always been the seat of government agencies.

In 1999, longjiaoshan market town was withdrawn and put under the jurisdiction of Jinhu street.

Huangpingshan ecotourism area

Huangpingshan ecotourism area is a nature reserve in Hubei Province. It is located in longjiaoshan village, a mountainous area in the south of Jinhu sub district office of Daye City, bordering on the northwest of Yangxin County. It is about 20 kilometers away from Daye City, covering Dongjiakou forest area of Yinzu town of Daye City, with a total area of about 80 square kilometers. It is a subtropical continental monsoon climate type.

Longjiao Chaolong

It is one of the eight sceneries in Daye City. The sceneries are located in Longjiao mountain, which is at the junction of Jinhu street, Dajipu town and Yinzu town. It is 15km away from Daye City in the northeast, formerly known as longer mountain. In 745, Li Longji, Emperor Xuanzong of Tang Dynasty, changed it to Longjiao mountain. The main peak is 786.9 meters above sea level. It is famous for its characteristic of "the sun shines on the top first, and the rain rises with clouds".

Copper sea flying smoke

Tongdu Liufen and Tongdu huaigu are located in Tonglu mountain, 3km southwest of Daye City. Tonglushan Copper Mine is famous at home and abroad for its long history, rich reserves and high grade. It has been mined and smelted continuously since the period of Xiaoyi in the Yin Dynasty. For thousands of years, the copper smoke curled up and the fire was blazing, so it got its name.

The scenery is in Lingfeng mountain in Jinhu street. Lingfeng mountain, also known as Manqian mountain, is named after the word "Manqian" in Dongfang Shuo. It is located between Qihu bridge, Majiao and Jiaotang temple, 7 kilometers away from Daye City, and 246 meters above sea level. There is a stone room for the collection of books in the Han Dynasty; there is a reading hall, it is said that Dongfang Shuo of the Western Han Dynasty once read and lectured here. The nearby Qihu bridge is the place for its habitat and tourism. There are some historic sites nearby, such as Caowangzui, Chuwangcheng, qingshanchangyuan, etc.

Tonglushan ancient copper mine site

Tonglushan ancient mining site is located in the hinterland of Jinhu sub district office of Daye City. More than 360 mining wells and lanes and 7 ancient copper smelting furnaces were excavated from the Western Zhou Dynasty (11th century to 8th century BC) to the Western Han Dynasty (5th century to 2nd century BC). Discovered in 1973, it is the best preserved, the most complete, the earliest excavated, the highest smelting level, the largest scale and the most completely preserved ancient copper mine site in China. The Tonglushan ancient copper mine site was listed as a national key cultural relic protection unit in 1982, and was declared by the State Council in 1987. UNESCO was listed as an international heritage site.
