Xiaosi Township

Xiaosi township is under the jurisdiction of Caidian District, Wuhan City, Hubei Province. It covers an area of 143.33 square kilometers (2017). Population: 12286 (2017). It has jurisdiction over 12 administrative villages of Gangzhou, Hanhong, Yuqiao, Luohan, jiugou, digou, Hongnan, Qukou, Qihao, Sanhe, Honghe and Yangzhuang, and a residents committee of Xiaosi community. In 1954, it belonged to the Fourth District of Hanyang county. In 1956, it belonged to the fifth guidance group. In 1958, it was changed to Xiaosi management area, belonging to the happy commune. Xiaosi township is located in the southwest of Caidian District, Wuhan City, known as the "land of fish and rice". It has a vast land area of 143.33 square kilometers (2017), bordering Xiliuhe town of Xiantao City in the West and facing Hannan District across the river in the south. It is located in the "Golden Triangle" zone where the two places intersect, and is close to Chenhu, a provincial rare bird Wetland Nature Reserve. Baiqu highway runs through the whole area. It is close to national highway 318 in the north and Hanhong Expressway in the south. It is 65 km away from Wuhan city and 35 km away from Xiantao City. The traffic is convenient.

The legend of Xiaosigou

Eight hundred years ago, there were many wars and the people were in dire straits. The Southern Song Dynasty was teetering. It's said that an elder of Emei Mountain in Sichuan Province, who was able to enjoy the heavenly phenomena at night, saw the abnormal stars in the north of the river, and rushed straight to the yaochi lake. His heart was full of sorrow. The elder felt that the fate was not over, so he went down the mountain and traveled all the way to enlighten the common people.

During the Qingming Festival, the elder traveled along the Yangtze River to Dongting Lake. After passing by the ancient cloud Mengze, he sank into the lake. Seeing that it was late, he asked the boatman to get off the boat by yizhouzi. At night, the elder just closed his eyes and saw an old man with white hair approaching. The old man asked, "master, can you hear the rumbling sound?" The elder sat up and said, "the water is deep and the waves are swift here. There is a sound in eight Li. Of course you can hear it. " The old man twists his long beard and shakes his head: "no, the sound comes from the dragon and tiger pool. It's all sin." Confused, the elder pricked up his ears: "dragon and tiger pool? I'd like to hear more about it. "

The old man took a long breath and opened his voice.

In ancient times, there lived in yaochi palace the 23rd daughter of the queen mother of the west, named Yaoji. In the Ziqing palace, she worshipped Sanyuan Xianjun and learned endless changes of fairy art. She was granted the title of Lady Yunhua by the Jade Emperor, and was specialized in teaching fairy children and jade girls. Yao ji is active and can't bear the lonely days in the fairy palace. Once, she took the maid fairy girl and left yaochi palace quietly to travel in the East China Sea.

Yao Ji has a car, called Phoenix, chicken head, swallow chin, snake neck, turtle back, fish tail, colorful, six feet high, beautiful. Although Phoenix is a god bird and the king of birds, it also envies Gu yunmengze's paradise like habitat. While yao ji was traveling in the East China Sea, she sneaked out. She returned to fly to the lake she had been longing for for for a long time and played with her heart's content.

At this time, the ancient Huangsi River waterway on the North Bank of Chenhu Lake was visited by the yaolongzi Guanfu, the Dragon King of Beihai. He was a dragon. He broke the rules of heaven and fled to the mortal world. He often made waves around the lake to make fun of the boat. Guan Fu coveted the beauty of the Phoenix, and did not play it in front of him. He executed the Phoenix to trap the Phoenix on the Chau son of the sinking lake, not to let her touch a drop of water. Phoenix knows that the dragon is the king of the aquarium, in charge of Xingyun rainfall, but he can't fight him. He secretly attracts wild birds and monsters from the lake, digs ditches and diverts water to save himself. All this can't hide from Guan Fu's eyes. The birds, demons and birds dig a ditch in front of him, and he blocks the back immediately. This has been a stalemate.

When Yao Ji left the East China Sea, she found her car Phoenix missing. She opened her eyes to find out. She was startled. Beihai dragon was so brave that she dared to imprison the car of our palace. Yao ji returns to the fairy palace, crying and yelling, and brings the accusation of Beihai Longzi Guanfu to heaven.

When the Jade Emperor knew the injustice, he immediately sent Tieguai Li and Dharma protector Weituo Bodhisattva to supervise it. Tieguai Li and Bodhisattva Weituo were deeply aware of the importance of this matter and did not dare to neglect it. They rushed to Beihai Dragon Palace, met aoshun, the Dragon King of Beihai, and told the truth. After hearing this, aoshun sends three dragons, four dragons and nine dragons to rescue Fenghuang and subdue the rebellious son Guanfu.

The three dragons followed tie Guai Li and Wei Tuo Bodhisattva straight to the lake. Seeing that Yao Ji's Phoenix was still trapped in the same place, they stirred the dragon's tail separately. Suddenly, there was a strong wind, and the sand gushed like a waterfall. There are deep ditches in the East, South and north of Chenhu Lake. Along the three ditches, the ancient Huangsi River rushes to Zhouzi, which is trapped in the west of Fenghuang.

The old man wiped his eyes and stopped.

"Sin! What happened then? " Elder hands arch, can't wait to ask.

"Late! It's late... " The old man went on with a sigh——

Three streams of water gushed to Zhouzi, but the Phoenix spirit was almost exhausted, floating on the surface, and there was no movement. Guan Fu knew that he had made a big hole in the lake. Although the three dragons thought of brotherhood, they had to force Guan Fu out of the lake due to the selfless supervision of tie Guai Li and Wei Tuo Bodhisattva. They had a fierce fight near the ditch split by Si Longzi. Guan Fu knew that he was wrong and didn't dare to fight. He dug a hole and ran away. This hole is the unfathomable dragon and tiger pool, in which Guanfu is trapped by tieguaili and Weituo Bodhisattva. The rumbling sound was made by Guan Fu from the bottom of the dragon and tiger pool, thousands of years ago.

The old man told the elder that the island under his feet was Xiangshui harbor. Tie Guai Li and Wei Tuo succumbed to Guan Fu and reported to the Jade Emperor happily. The Jade Emperor said that tieguaili and Weituo Bodhisattva have great merits. Longzi is a god beast, and yunmengze is a wild place, for fear that he will disturb the world in the future. With tie Guai Li, mark the area of subduing Longzi Guanfu in detail. Tieguai Li pondered for a while, and replied that because of the storm around yunmengze Chenhu Lake caused by Longzi Guanfu, Zhouzi, which imprisons Fenghuang, can be marked as ditouzui; Zhouzi, which is beside Longhu Lake, can be marked as Xiangshui harbor; the zigzag hole of Longzi Guanfu when he escapes can be marked as Qukou; the ditch split by sanlongzi and jiulongzi can be marked as sanlonggou and jiulonggou, and the ditch split by silongzi is It can be marked as four Dragon Tieguai Li hesitated and giggled. He said, no, it can be marked as Xiaosigou. Si is nasi, which is also called Dragon in the world. The gods laughed. Aoshun, the Dragon King of Beihai, went down to yunmengze Lake thousands of years later to search for the right people, build temples and pray for peace.

As the old man said this, he flashed in front of the elder, turned into a golden light and disappeared into the vast night sky of the lake. The elder rubbed his eyes and saw the Golden Dragon appear. It turned out to be a dream of the Dragon King of Beihai.

The next day, the elder took a bath and changed clothes, burned incense and worshipped. He inspired the God to live happily and raised a magic weapon to do the Dharma. The wooden board on the ship was used to build a simple temple, which was inscribed with a plaque and named Zhenlong temple. The elder recorded the dreams one by one, prepared a composition, and passed on the alms to his disciples before he sat down, which continued the incense of Zhenlong temple.

As early as the end of Ming Dynasty and the beginning of Qing Dynasty, the elder's disciples successively built the Dragon King Temple in Xiaosigou, but what the temple worships is not the Dragon King, but Tieguai Li. In the east of Longwang temple, Zhouzi built a Luohan hall to worship the great Dharma protector Weituo Bodhisattva. Pilgrims used to call Zhouzi luohanzhou. In the 34th year of Qianlong reign, it was a flourishing age. The scattered investors who are fishing and cutting firewood on the Bank of Chenhu Lake are living in the village. The elder's disciples then rebuilt the zhenlongchan temple at the original site and entrusted it with a new chair, which made it prosperous.

It is rare to build three temples in less than five kilometers of Chenhu area. When the government knew about it, it was afraid of violating the sacred taboo and losing its black hat. It ordered Zhenlong temple to be renamed Zhenglong temple, sanlonggou to be renamed Sangou, and jiulonggou to be renamed jiugou. Sangou, jiugou, Xiaosigou, digouzui, xiangshuigang, Qukou and luohanzhou are still in use today. The three temples were destroyed by floods one after another. In 1984, zhenlongchan temple was rebuilt in Kaiguang. In 2010, it was expanded and its original name was restored.

Today, Chenhu Lake has become an important international wetland in Hubei Province, and the dragon and tiger Lake still has a long history
