Niedui town

Niedui town is located 12 kilometers north of Xihua county, Zhoukou City, Henan Province, adjacent to Dongxia town in the East, Honghua town in the west, Tiankou Township in the South and Fugou County in the north. Jialu River in the west, Qingshui River in the East, Zhoukou Zhengzhou highway in the west, ashen Expressway and Dengfu highway in the North run through the north and south, yubai highway runs across the East and West, and Zhenghe high speed railway runs through the territory, realizing the road access to every village. It covers an area of 70.26 square kilometers, with 68600 mu of cultivated land.

On June 20, 2020, it was named the first batch of "beautiful towns" in Henan Province.

History and culture

Niedui has a long history and splendid traditional culture. It is said that Nu Wa, the great ancestor of the Chinese nation, was here to knead clay to make man, practice stone to mend heaven, make marriage, teach farming, and build her capital. As early as before the spring and Autumn period, people built a city here for sacrifice and named it "wa city". The existing Nuwa city site, WA mausoleum and Longquan Temple are all provincial cultural relics protection units. After 1980, five palace style buildings were built in the Nuwa cemetery, including the wa Huang hall and the Bu Tian hall. Temple cornices Dougong, Biwa Liujin, shade, beautiful scenery. The origin of place names

Wuding, king of Shang Dynasty, was buried 20 miles northeast of the county, which is called the imperial mausoleum. After Wu Ding died, he accompanied King Nie and died here for three years. He sealed a large mound for King Nie's tomb and later generations lived here, which is called "Nie Dui".

Historical evolution

After 1912, the Second District Office, niedui Town Office, was set up here. Niedui was liberated in 1947 and established as the Fifth District in 1948. In 1956, it was renamed niedui Central Township. Niedui people's commune was established in 1958, and it was renamed District in 1961. It was also called people's commune in 1965, niedui Township in 1984, and niedui town in 1986.

Travel

Nuwa city site

Located in the west of sidugang village, it is a key cultural relic protection unit at the provincial level, covering an area of more than 200 mu. It has a history of more than 1500 years. It echoes Huaiyang's "Taihao mausoleum" in the East. It is said that Nu Wa used loess to make human beings, refined five colored stones to fill the sky, broke the feet and supported the four poles. The flood was leveled, the beasts were killed, and people could live in peace. Later generations built "Nuwa tomb" and "Nuwa Pavilion" here. Because the historical relics are well preserved. There are now five main halls and more than 80 East and West Wing rooms. More than 100000 people come here to burn incense and worship Buddha on the first and fifteenth day of the lunar new year. There are eight tourist attractions in Nuwa City, including Nuwa City, Nuwa mausoleum, Longquan Temple, jade well and Longtan. Longquan Temple

Located in the south of sidugang village, it is less than 2km away from Nuwa city. It is said that there is a pool in front of the temple. The spring water is clear and unpredictable. It does not dry up all the year round, so it is called "Longquan". The main hall of Longquan Temple is for Buddha, the small hall is for binzhai room, and the Zen room is opposite from east to west. In front of the main hall is the water and land meeting hall, the small hall is the zangwang hall, the Jialan hall is in the West and in the East, and the liuzu hall is in the East and in the West. And the former lived in the south of the mountain gate, where the four heavenly kings were. The walls are high and steep, and there are more than a hundred monk rooms. It is located 4km southwest of niedui Town, close to Nuwa City, a provincial-level cultural relic protection unit in Henan Province. In 1994, a few farmers began to cultivate edible fungi in this village. In 1997, a large-scale cultivation and development base for edible fungi was formed. It is preliminarily estimated that the actual annual output of edible fungi such as wet agaric in the base is more than 260 tons (about 50 tons after drying).
