Duancun Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Anxin County, Baoding City, Hebei Province, is managed by xiong'an new district. It is located 7.9 kilometers south of Anxin County, on the North Bank of Baiyangdian dike, adjacent to Quantou Township in the East, Anxin town in the north, and liulizhuang town across Baiyangdian Lake in the south. The largest distance from the 9.5 areas to the East and West is 7.5 km to the north and south, and the total area is 72 square kilometers, of which the water area is 16 square kilometers, and the total registered residence population is 49438 (2018).

Duan village is named after Duan village where the town government is stationed. In 1984, the town system was restored. As of October 2019, Duancun town has jurisdiction over 21 administrative villages, and the town people's government is stationed in Duancun.
