Huxi Township
Huxi Township, subordinate to Le'an County, Fuzhou City, Jiangxi Province, is located in the north of Le'an County, with Chongren County in the East, Aoxi town in the south, Shandang town in the West and Gongxi town in the north. Huxi Township, covering an area of 120 square kilometers, governs nine administrative villages and 101 villager groups in Meixi, dongdui, Ganquan, Huxi, Xiaopi, shebei, Shagang, Yaomen and Kang villages. At the end of 2018, Huxi Township had 13 thousand and 100 registered residence population.

Historical evolution
During the Tongzhi period of the Qing Dynasty (1862-1875), it belonged to 24 capitals of chongrenli, 25 capitals of shangshanli and 30 capitals of ganquanli in Tianshou township.
During the period of the Republic of China (1912-1949), Xiaopi township was set up in the territory.
In 1949, it was under the jurisdiction of five districts; in 1956, dongdui township was established; in 1958, dongdui people's commune was established; in 1960, Huxi people's commune was established; in 1968, it was divided into three communes: Gongxi, Gongfang and Shipi; in 1972, Huxi commune was restored. In September 1984, Huxi commune was abolished and Huxi township was established.
In December 1998, Huxi township government moved from Huxi village to Xiaopi village to dig a tree bridge.
