Guolutan town is located in the central and southern part of Gushi County, Henan Province, 18 kilometers away from Gushi County, 60 kilometers away from Sanhejian Town, an important industrial town, 58 kilometers away from Wanggang wharf of Huaihe port, and 108 kilometers away from Fuyang airport. It is known as "south gate of Liaocheng". It has a total area of 98.33 square kilometers (2017) and a population of 35470 (2017).
