Fushan Township

Fushan township is located in the south of Shangcheng County, Henan Province, 17 kilometers away from the county seat. It is a deep mountain township. It is adjacent to the National Geopark Jingangtai in the East, tangquanchi in the West and Jinzhai County in Anhui Province in the southeast.

The total area is 141.6 square kilometers, with 180000 mu of mountain forest and 15000 mu of cultivated land. It belonged to Dongfeng commune in 1958, Fushan commune in 1962 and township in 1983. Fushan is the hometown of red. Fushan is an important part of the Hubei Henan Anhui revolutionary base, the birthplace of the Shangcheng uprising.
