Daquandian town is located 30 kilometers south of Shangcheng County, Xinyang City, Henan Province. It is located in the middle and upper reaches of Guanhe River and the north foot of Dabie Mountain. It borders Jinzhai County, Anhui Province in the East, Macheng City, Hubei Province in the south, Fengdian Township in the west, Wuhe Township and Wanggang town in the north. It is called "Jiming Baoxiao Tingsan province". It is a township of deep mountain district, reaching wushixing of Zhengzhou in the north, 400li of Hefei in the East and Xincheng town in the West In the morning of Yangyi, it is closer to Macheng railway station, Shangcheng railway station and national highway 312. There are highways in the southeast and northwest. On July 21, 2014, the Ministry of housing and urban rural development and other seven ministries and commissions announced the notice of the Ministry of housing and urban rural development and other departments on publishing the list of national key towns. Daquandian town was rated as "national key town" and became one of the three key towns in Shangcheng County. On January 29, 2015, daquandian town became the second batch of livable towns in China.

There are mainly three county and township roads in Shangcheng County. Shangcheng Fengdian daquandian is the patrol Ring Road in the west of Shangcheng County. Shangcheng Fushan daquandian is the patrol Ring Road in the east of Shangcheng County. Historical Geography
In 1958, it belonged to iron and steel commune, in 1962, it set up daquandian commune, and in 1983, it changed to township. In 1997, it covers an area of 153.6 square kilometers and has a population of 30000. It governs 22 administrative villages, including yingwo, Meihe, Tangfan, Heihe, xiangzigang, shierdaohe, Xindian, Xuchong, Dazao, wulonggang, touzhanping, Youhe, xinjian'ao, hejiafan, huangnibang, dahechong, Xingfu, wangjiabu, Jinggangshan, shizitang, ShengDian and shishuan. On January 4, 2010, with the approval of the people's Government of Henan Province, it was agreed that daquandian township should withdraw from the township and build a town to implement the system of town governing village. On the morning of August 10, 2010, the unveiling ceremony was held. In the territory, there are high mountains, gurgling streams and winding channels. The altitude ranges from 100 meters to 1000 meters. The larger peaks are honglaozhai, Niutoushan, Shuangjian, wanjiashan, huangpizhai and 48jie. They are not strange peaks, but they are also quiet and beautiful. Tourists often come to visit them. Stone boat village is designated as a tourist scenic spot, famous for its lifelike natural landscape "stone boat". On its side are stone drum, stone chair, stone man, stone dog, stone chicken and stone toad. It seems to be standing in contemplation, thinking back to the mythical age of "stone chicken crowing, stone dog biting, stone man running with stone boat". Shitang village has a waterfall 10 meters wide and 50 meters high. Below is a deep pool, reflecting the mountain shadow. When the sun shines on the waterfall, the waterfall reflects colorful water drops, attracting many photography lovers. There are Moon Lake, shangtianguan and Jinniu temple, which are full of magical legends. Industrial economy
The township has a total area of 13800 mu of arable land and 1426 mu of water surface. The soil is fertile and rich in water resources. It mainly grows grain crops, with an average yield of 600 kg per mu in 2005. During the harvest season, chestnut merchants rush to buy it. Therefore, daquandian township is well-known and has the reputation of "Chestnut Township". The township sowed 12000 mu of "Liangyoupeijiu" rice, 9000 mu of high-quality wheat and 2000 mu of "double low rape". The development momentum of private enterprises is good. On the basis of consolidating the existing "Hongfa breeding farm", "Rongdi Lighting Factory" and "architectural decoration engineering company", Jinshan (Group) Industrial Co., Ltd. was newly established, with two new unburned brick factories, a bristle brush handle factory, a toy factory and a lime yard. The GDP of the township reached 169.6 million yuan, accounting for 106% of the target task; the fiscal revenue reached 1.727 million yuan, and the per capita net income of farmers reached 2928 yuan.
Education and medical treatment
Since the 1990s, the township government has raised funds to run education. It has invested more than 6 million yuan to demolish the dilapidated buildings in primary schools and build them into brick and tile buildings, and to replace the old tables and stools with standard ones. There are 19 village primary schools, 100 teaching classes, 148 full-time teachers and 2714 students in the township. There is a middle school in the township.
