Daomaguan Township, a township under the jurisdiction of Tang County, Baoding City, Hebei Province, is located in the northwest of Tang County, bordering Chuanli town in the East, Yangjiao Township in the south, Shimen Township in the southwest and Laiyuan County in the West and North. The maximum distance between East and West is 8.8 km, and the maximum distance between North and south is 17.2 km, with a total area of 1103 square kilometers. In late 2018, the total population of the registered residence in the township was 4401.

Founded in the Warring States period, it was called "hongzhisai" or "hongshangguan" at that time. In the Han Dynasty, it was called changshanguan, and daomaguan was called in the Ming Dynasty. Daomaguan, the great wall of Ming Dynasty, was built in the third year of Jingtai (452) of Ming Dynasty and rebuilt in the later Ming Dynasty. Guancheng is surrounded by cliffs and deep streams, half in valleys and half in mountains. Tanghe River surrounds Guancheng on three sides. The ancient city of daomaguan is an important military site in the past dynasties. It has the "Zhongjie Temple" site of Yang Jiye and Yang Yanzhao in the Northern Song Dynasty, LIULANG stele, official hall, beacon tower and fort.

Daomaguan provincial forest park is located in daomaguan Township in the northwest of Tang County, adjacent to Baishishan National Geopark in the north and Damaoshan National Forest Park in the south.
