Located in the northwest of Tang County, Baoding City, Hebei Province, it is adjacent to Baihe Town in the East, Dayang town in the south, Lingshan Town in Quyang County in the West and qijiazuo town in the north. The maximum distance from east to west is 6.4 km, and the maximum distance from north to south is 10.2 km, with a total area of 52 square kilometers. As of June 2020, mincheng town has nine administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the Township People's government is stationed in zhongmincheng village. Mincheng town is the planting site of Tangxian jujube, a national geographical indication product of China.

In 2011, the total output value of urban and rural agriculture was 40 million yuan, and the fiscal revenue was 3.064 million yuan. In 2018, there were 46 industrial enterprises in urban and rural areas, of which 4 were above scale.
