Shigu town is located 13 kilometers southwest of Changge City in Henan Province, 13 kilometers away from the urban area, at the junction of Yuzhou City, Jian'an district and Changge City. The town has a total area of 38.8 square kilometers (2017), with a cultivated area of 44000 mu.

With a history of more than 7400 years, the Neolithic cultural site excavated in shigu has become an important part of Yangshao culture. With large circulation to promote economic development, Tianbao agricultural comprehensive market is the material and trade exchange center of the surrounding five towns; the largest idle equipment trading center in Henan Province north of the Yangtze River, covering an area of 25000 square meters; it holds more than 2000 machine tools, with an annual turnover of more than 100 million yuan, and is named "provincial civilized market". With perfect infrastructure, standardized and scientific urban construction, nanbeizhai District, covering an area of 4 square kilometers, has formed a business district in the south, a living and residential district in the west, a cultural and entertainment district in the middle, and an Industrial Development Zone in the East, presenting a rural urban style. Tianbao palace is located in the north of aizhuang village, aizhuang Township, Xuchang County, 25 kilometers northwest of Xuchang City, adjacent to shigu Town, Changge City. According to the inscription "Governor Xu's society founded Tianbao Palace", the Tianbao temple was founded in 1240. In 1269, it was changed into a palace. Tianbao palace covers an area of 20000 square meters and faces south. The original buildings on the central axis are Mountain Gate, worship Pavilion, Yuewang hall, Guansheng hall, Laojun hall, Yuhuang hall, Leizu hall, Sanhuang hall and Zhenwu hall.

Today, Laojun hall and Sanhuang hall no longer exist. There are veranda and Yemen on both sides. There are three blue brick arched openings in the mountain gate. The middle opening is larger, 7 meters high, 6 meters deep, and flat top. In 1998, an antique loft was added. The pavilion is supported by four stone pillars with a square top. Landscape figures are painted on the Chinese plate. Regular script couplets are engraved on all sides of the stone pillars. Pavilion on both sides of the East and West Corridor room each 5, hard mountain gray tile top. Yemen pass the relevant public hall, face wide 3, hard Hill gray tile top, under the eaves Shi Dou arch. The Jade Emperor hall is 5 rooms wide with a hard mountain and a gray tile roof. Zhenwu hall is the oldest and has a large scale. It is 10 meters high, 9 rooms wide and 5 rooms deep. The top of the hall is covered with green glazed tiles, with nine ridges and six beasts. It has a single eaves and five heavy arches under the eaves. There are 10 stone columns with rolling dragon relief in the front row, three doors in the front, five beams in the interior, and gold pillars. Couplets of warm Pavilion in the hall: the temple looks like the sky, clouds come and go, and the wind is uncertain. It's really a castle in the air. The painters start from the ground, and the flowers bloom and wither, and the scenery is always new. It will not be the same as Penglai on the sea.

There are many inscriptions in yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties. Among them, the imperial edict stele of the Da Yuan Dynasty is a comparison between the Ba Si Ba language and the Chinese language, which has important historical value. The research articles of Mr. Chen Zhichao from the Institute of history, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Mr. Zhao nastu and Mr. daobu from the Institute of language, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, were published in the sixth issue of national language in 1984 and the sixth issue of Chinese history research in 1986, and are available in Henan Provincial Library.
