Yangshou

Yangshuo Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Yangshuo County, Guilin City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is located in the northeast of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and the south of Guilin City, bordering Fuli town and Puyi Township in the East, Gaotian town in the south, Baisha Town in the West and Xingping town in the North, with a total area of 76.5 square meters. In the early Qing Dynasty, it was under the jurisdiction of chongru Li. In October 1999, Yangshuo town and Chengguan Township merged into Yangshuo town. By the end of 2019, there are 16611 households in Yangshuo Town, with a total population of 48800; it has jurisdiction over 6 communities and 5 administrative villages, and the town government is located in Pantao road.

In 2018, Yangshuo town will achieve a GDP of 3.712 billion yuan, a social fixed asset investment of 704 million yuan, a fiscal revenue of 207 million yuan, a per capita disposable income of 43880 yuan for urban residents and 16655 yuan for rural residents.

On October 9, 2018, Yangshuo town was selected as one of the top 1000 towns with comprehensive strength in China in 2018. In October 2019, Yangshuo town was selected as one of the "Top 1000 towns with comprehensive strength in China in 2019".

History of construction

In the early Qing Dynasty, it was under the jurisdiction of Chengxiang chongru Li; in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China, it was under the jurisdiction of central district.

In 1931, Bilian township was established.

After liberation, from November 1949 to 1950, it was still called Bilian township.

From February 1950 to December 1955, the township was removed and divided into districts under the jurisdiction of District 1 (Baisha), District 2 (Welfare) and District 6 (Gaotian).

In December 1957, it was Chengguan Township.

In August 1958, it was incorporated into the jurisdiction of Baisha people's Commune and Yangshuo town (township level town) was established.

In July 1962, the commune was changed into a district, the brigade was abolished, and a small commune was set up. The original Chengguan Township was divided from Baisha district and Chengguan District was established. The administrative division of Yangshuo town remained unchanged.

In January 1966, Yangshuo town was renamed Chengguan Town, and in March of the same year, it was renamed Yangshuo town.

In October 1968, the district and town system was abolished and renamed Yangshuo town commune and Chengguan commune.

In October 1984, the commune was abolished and the township system was restored, which was called Yangshuo town and Chengguan town respectively.

In October 1999, Yangshuo town and Chengguan Township merged into Yangshuo town.

By the end of 2019, Yangshuo town has six communities: Lianfeng community, pingfengshan community, beimene community, liyujing community, Dongling community, Fengming community and five administrative villages: Aishan village, Mushan village, Jima village, zhanggui village and Gaozhou village. History and culture

Yangshuo town also preserves China's most complete Miluo culture, Sancha culture and unique Dahekou culture. Since 1973, more than 100 heads of state or leaders have visited or toured Yangshuo town.

In 1960, the film "Liu Sanjie" was successfully filmed in Yangshuo. Liu Sanjie is a feature film produced by Changchun Film Studio in 1960, which is adapted from the folk legends of the tongs in Guangxi.
