Wanglinkou Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Fuping County, Baoding City, Hebei Province, is located in the east of Fuping County, bordering Pingyang town in the East, Guoyuan town in the south, Fuping town in the west, shijiazhai Township in the northwest and Datai Township in the north. The maximum distance from east to west is 18.75 km, and the maximum distance from north to south is 14.5 km, with a total area of 105.5 square kilometers. In late 2018, the total population of Wang Linkou town registered residence was 20827.
In July 1961, Wanglinkou commune was established. In February 1984, it was changed into Wanglinkou township. In December 2013, it was rebuilt into Wanglinkou town. As of June 2020, Wanglinkou town has jurisdiction over 20 administrative villages, and the people's Government of Wanglinkou town is located in xiwanglinkou village.
In 2011, the total agricultural output value of Wanglinkou township was 275 million yuan. The total revenue was 12.4785 million yuan, a decrease of 23.4% over the previous year. In 2018, there were 25 industrial enterprises in Wanglinkou Town, including 3 large-scale enterprises and 4 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

In 1958, it belonged to Pingyang commune.
In July 1961, Wang Linkou commune was established.
In February 1984, it was changed into Wanglinkou township.
In February 1996, Xizhuang township was incorporated.
In December 2013, it was rebuilt into Wanglinkou town.

Wanglinkou town is located in the eastern foot of Taihang Mountain, most of the territory is mountainous, high in the northwest and low in the southeast. The highest point in the territory, paomaliang, is 432.3 meters above sea level; the lowest point, shiyadi, donggoukou, is 198 meters above sea level.

Wanglinkou town has a warm temperate continental monsoon climate with four distinct seasons. It is cold and less snow in winter, dry and windy in spring, hot and rainy in summer, cool and windy in autumn. The annual average temperature is 12.6 ℃, the average temperature in January is - 3.8 ℃, and the extreme minimum temperature is - 19 ℃ (January 19, 1998); the average temperature in July is 26 ℃, and the extreme maximum temperature is 41.7 ℃ (June 24, 2009). hydrology
Yaozi River and Banyu River in Wanglinkou town enter from Qianling and flow into Dasha River from north to south. Dasha River enters from fangtaikou and flows into Wangkuai reservoir.

The main natural disasters in Wanglinkou town are hail, drought, gale, low temperature, frost, lightning, snow, rainstorm, flood, etc. The most serious flood occurred in July 1963, with 10 consecutive days of rainfall. 14 administrative villages including Xinzhuang, majushi, Shangzhuang, Nanwan, fangtaikou, Sikou, Shentai, Dongjiakou, Nanyu, xiwanglinkou, dongwanglinkou, Liujiagou, Qianling and wuzhangwan were affected, covering an area of 2000 hectares. Snow disasters occurred from time to time. The most serious one occurred in 1991. More than 700 mu of vegetables were affected by the disaster, reducing the output by more than half.
