Er'an town is located in the southwest of Neihuang County. It is the junction of Neihuang, Tangyin and xunxian counties in Anyang and Hebi. It is adjacent to Jingdian town in the East, Gaodi Township in the north, Wangzhuang Township in xunxian County in the south, and Wuling town in Tangyin County across Weihe River in the West. The town government is 30 kilometers away from the county. It covers an area of 57 square kilometers and 50000 mu of cultivated land.

Historical evolution

Er'an commune was established in 1958 and changed to township in 1983. In 1997, it covers an area of 58 square kilometers and has a population of 37000. It has jurisdiction over Qian'an, hou'an, Dazhai, dahuailin, xiaohuailin, GuanZhai, qianhuagu, houhuagu, xihuagu, shahezhuang, Qiying, Jingcun, sunxiaozhai, liuxiaozhai, chaoxiaozhai, tieluhu, Xuzhuang, licaopo, Huzhuang, Weiwan, dock, Hanfu, Baizhuang, Liuzhuang, Beixu, Daliu, chezhao, xipanjing and houwang29 It's an administrative village.

Cement roads are widely laid between villages to connect with the main roads of counties and townships. It is the hometown of Yuzhu in China and "the first town for economic and social development" in Neihuang County.
