Dongwenshan Township
Dongwenshan Township, a township under the jurisdiction of Laishui County, Baoding City, Hebei Province, is located in the south of Laishui County, bordering Laishui town in the East, Mingyi town in the south, yongyang town in the West and Loucun town in the north. The maximum distance from east to west is 7 kilometers, and the maximum distance from north to south is 10.9 kilometers, covering a total area of 32 square kilometers. In late 2018, the total population of Dong Wen Shan township registered residence was 17818.
In January 1962, dongwenshan commune was established. In January 1984, it was changed to dongwenshan township. As of June 2020, dongwenshan township is under the jurisdiction of the Township People's government at No. 6 Zhengyang Hutong, dongwenshan. Dongwenshan township is the birthplace of Laishui walnut, a national geographical indication product of China. It is also the birthplace of Zuchongzhi, a scientist in the northern and Southern Dynasties and zuti, a famous general in the Eastern Jin Dynasty.
