Chenwu township is located in the east of Luoning County, Luoyang City, Henan Province, 6.3 kilometers away from the county. It is said that Ling Lun, the musician of the Yellow Emperor, once took bamboo Sheng pipes from the valley on the west side of Jinmen to set the tune. Therefore, "bamboo rhyme of Jinmen" is listed as one of the eight ancient scenes in Luoning. The township is rich in bamboos, bamboo weaving industry has a long history, Ludi lantern, Zhongyi rain hat, Dayuan BOLUO, Delhi curtain are famous. Chen Wuyu, formerly known as jinmenchuan, once had Jinmen county and Jinmen County; during the period of the Republic of China, it had districts and townships. In September 1947, Luonan County was established and the first district was set up in Ludi village. In March 1949, Luonan and Luobei counties merged into Luoning County, where the ninth district was set up. In 1955, the district was withdrawn and Chenwu Central Township was built.
