Historical evolution
Muzhi Street got its name from the ancient logging and water transportation. It belonged to Ruchuan town in the Ming and Qing Dynasties and the Republic of China. In 1948, it established the Fifth District Office of yilusong county. In 1949, it belonged to the Tenth District of Song County. It established muzhijie Township in 1956, muzhijie rocket people's commune in 1959, muzhijie block in 1961, muzhijie commune in 1963 and muzhijie Township in 1984. In 1948, it was the Fifth District of yilusong county (Muzhi block). In February 1949, yilusong county was abolished and belonged to Song County. Before liberation, there were 10 primary schools with more than 200 students and 13 teachers. In 1950, primary schools were set up in 15 villages with 540 students and 21 teachers. In 1953, two primary schools (Muzhi street and Chan Hall) were established with 1503 students. In 1969, he founded two junior high schools (Muzhi street and chantang).
