Qingyuan town

Qingyuan Town, belonging to Qingyuan District of Baoding City, Hebei Province, is located in the north of the middle of Qingyuan district. It is the resident town of the district government, adjacent to Lianchi District of Baoding City in the north and surrounded by Qingyuan City on all sides. It borders Shiqiao Township in the East, Beidian Township in the south, baituan Township in the west, Wuyao Township and Jiaozhuang Township in Lianchi District in the north. The town people's government is located in the fourth village of nandaran. The total area of the jurisdiction is 46.9 square kilometers, and the total registered residence population is 43174 (2018).

Qingyuan town is named after Qingyuan district government. In 1953, Daran township was built. In August 1958, the people's commune of Daran was established. In May 1984, it was rebuilt into nandaran township. In July 1984, it was changed to Qingyuan town. As of October 2019, Qingyuan town has 11 neighborhood committees and 15 village committees. There are Beijing Shenzhen Expressway, Baocang expressway, provincial Baoheng highway, Beijing Shijiazhuang high speed railway, Baoqing highway transit.

Historical evolution

In 1953, Daran township was built.

In August 1958, the people's commune of Daran was established.

In May 1984, it was rebuilt into nandaran township.

In January 1996, zhongran Township and Zhaozhuang Township were merged.

At the end of 1998, 10 villages of Qingbao, Bizhuang, Zhaozhuang, xin'anpu, Chuzhuang, Lianzhuang No.1 village, Lianzhuang No.2 village, Lianzhuang No.3 village, Zhuzhuang and ruanzhuang were assigned to Jiaozhuang township of Nanshi District; 5 villages of beigoutou, nangoutou, nanxinzhuang, Beixinzhuang and an were assigned to Wuyao township of Nanshi District; after the adjustment, Qingyuan town took charge of the original 17 villages.

In June 1999, Luzhuang and niezhuang villages were assigned to Jiaozhuang Township, Nanshi District, Baoding city.
