Pangjia town

Pangjia Town, belonging to Boxing County, Binzhou City, Shandong Province, is located in the north of Boxing County, adjacent to Chenhu town in the East, BoChang street in the south, Gaoqing County in Zibo City in the West and Qiaozhuang town in the north. The area is 70.75 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, the registered residence of Pang Jia town was 26935.

In September 1958, Tongbin township was merged and Tongbin commune was established in October of the same year. In May 1961, Tongbin district was restored. In September 1968, it was changed into Pangjia commune. In May 1984, Pang's hometown was rebuilt. In January 1995, Pangjia town was established. As of June 2020, Pangjia town has 50 administrative villages.

By the end of 2018, there were 56 industrial enterprises in Pangjia Town, including 4 Industrial Enterprises above Designated Size and 30 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

Historical evolution

During the spring and Autumn period and the Warring States period, the territory belonged to Qi.

In the Qin and Han Dynasties, it belonged to Qiancheng county.

In the late Tang Dynasty, it belonged to Boxing County.

Ming and Qing Dynasties, Xigu township.

After the first year of the Republic of China (1912), the southern part of the territory belongs to the first district of Boxing County, the eastern part belongs to the third district, and the northern part belongs to the Second District of Putai county.

In 1943, boxing was divided into eight districts.

In 1949, it was divided into seven districts.

In November 1955, it was Tongbin district.

In March 1956, Putai county was merged into Boxing County, which was divided into seven districts; in July of the same year, it was divided into two townships, Tongbin and anqiao.

In September 1958, Tongbin township was merged and Tongbin commune was established in October of the same year.

In May 1961, Tongbin district was restored.

In September 1968, it was changed into Pangjia commune.

In May 1984, Pang's hometown was rebuilt.

In January 1995, Pangjia town was established.

Pangjia town is a gentle slope along the Yellow River Plain. The terrain is high in the northwest and low in the southeast. The ground elevation is generally 8-11 meters.

In Pangjia Town, there are new North Branch River, No.3 branch ditch, Gongnong River, Daoxu main canal, Gaotiao canal of diverting Yellow River to Qinghe River and other rivers running through the whole town.
