Hanji Township belongs to Hanchuan City, Hubei Province, northwest, is a typical plain Lake area, is the "land of fish and rice" of Hanchuan. Historical allusions and legends

(1) Source: in April 1934, commander Helong led his troops to Xiaji. When it rained for a long time in spring, the flood engulfed the seedlings. Helong directed the army and the people to build dikes to resist the rain, and the seedlings were saved. In memory of Comrade He Long's great achievements, people named these two dikes jundi and Longdi.

(2) Smedley's visit to Hanji: during the revolutionary war, Hanji has always been the center of the revolution and the headquarters of guerrilla warfare. The successful news flew out from here one after another, and the enemy was terrified at the news of Hanji. In 1940, Chen Shaomin, Secretary of the Party committee of Hubei Henan border region, accompanied American journalist Smedley to visit Hanji.
