Sijie town is located in the northwest of Tonghai County, Yuxi City, Yunnan Province, at 102 ° 46 ′ E and 24 ° 91 ′ n, about 10 km away from the county seat, 50 km away from Hongta District where the municipal government is stationed, and 130 km away from Kunming, the provincial capital. Historical evolution

Four streets and one district were transformed into people's communes, and 11 two-level people's communes were renamed production brigade. In 1984, Sijie people's commune was changed into Sijie District, and each brigade was changed into township. On July 19, 1988, najiaying, Gucheng and Sanjia villages were set up from Sijie township.
