The front and back of the site are divided into two villages, which are called Qiancheng and Houcheng, followed by jiejiaying village and Shezi village. It is said that during the Warring States period, Sun Bin captured pangjuan here, took off his armor and camped for rest. Sun Bin, the son of Shezi, shot Pang Juan to death with ten thousand arrows. History of spring
Ancient battlefield of Maling
According to the research, the core site of the battle in 341 B.C. was dulongjian in Maling mountain area, Quanyuan Township, Tancheng county. According to the records of Yizhou written by Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty, "Maling mountain is 90 Li to the east of the state. It connects with Tancheng and looks like a galloping horse. It goes straight to Suqian When Qi attacked Wei, Sun Tzu defeated Pang Juan here. " The terrain here is complex, the terrain is dangerous, and the mountains and gullies are crisscross, which can ambush hundreds of thousands of soldiers. Maling road can be divided into Peak Road, stream road and Valley Road. Peak road is an ancient north-south road, which connects Wu, Yue and Chu in the South and Qi, Yan and Zhao in the north. Along the ancient road in Maling mountain area, there are dozens of place names and village names related to the war of Qi and Wei dynasties. Among them, the road in dulongjian gully is curved, with cliffs on both sides of the road, deep valley and dense forest. At that time, Sun Bin shot Pang Juan in this stream, also known as Pang Juan ditch. There are many place names related to the great war between sun and Pang in the valley, including the battlefield relics such as Sun Bin barracks, ambush cliff and hate ancient cliff. One of the most famous villages is jiejiaying village. It is said that after Pang Juan's death, Sun Bin camped here and soldiers took off their armor to rest. Jiejiaying village is adjacent to Shuhe River in the east of which is Wangjia village. Some ancient bronze arrows were unearthed near the village in 1979. In the southwest of jiejiaying village, there are siweishan and mukezhai. The terrain is dangerous, and many ancient bronze arrows have been unearthed. About 7 kilometers south of jiejiaying village is the famous "Yu chiseled pass". It is said that the pass was chiseled for Xia Yu's water control. The water flows here and turns westward. There are cliffs and steep walls on both sides of the river. There are lots of trees and beautiful scenery. Southeast of the pass is Guzhai village. At that time, Sun Bin used the method of reducing cooking stoves to lure the enemy to go deep. Here, he reduced the cooking stoves to the minimum. His camp was in Guzhai village. When the Paomaling reservoir was built in 1972, hundreds of potholes and many three edged bronze arrows were excavated. Along the ancient village to the south, through daxianzhuang, Guanzhuang, luwo and Shanghe, to zhangcang village at the junction of Jiangsu and Shandong, the mountains rise and fall for more than 30 kilometers, but the mountain road is still flat. It is the southern section of the ancient Maling road of sun Pang Douzhi.
Fossil cypress
in December 1991, a cypress fossil was found in a stone layer 80 cm below the surface of the east slope of Maling mountain. The fossil has no roots, branches and leaves. It is a relatively complete trunk, 3.6 meters long and 35-45 cm in diameter. It is brown red, brown yellow and black. Experts from Institute of Vertebrate Paleontology and Paleoanthropology, Chinese Academy of sciences have identified it as the upper Cretaceous of Mesozoic, about 70000 years ago. It is the largest ancient tree fossil found in East China, which is of great value to the study of Mesozoic climate change in China.
unearthed relic
A large number of cultural relics related to the battle of Ma Ling in Qi and Wei dynasties have been unearthed in the mountain area and ancient road of Ma Ling near Pang Juan Gou (Dulong stream). There are two main categories of these cultural relics: one is weapons and pots and stoves Kang, the other is tombs. A large number of unearthed cultural relics are important evidence. In 1958, during the construction of Heilongtan reservoir, 400-500 copper arrows were unearthed, and more than 200 copper arrows were unearthed in suntang village. In 1972, when the Paomaling reservoir was built, hundreds of guozaokang and several three edged copper arrows were excavated. Later, dozens of guozaokang and thousands of copper arrows and three edged copper clusters were unearthed in Qingquan temple. A complete bronze sword was unearthed in Dashangzhuang, a broken sword was unearthed in jiejiaying village, and a copper thorn was unearthed in Quanyuan township. According to archaeologists, these weapons are all bronze weapons of the Warring States period. In particular, there are many and concentrated arrows unearthed at dulongjian. It is worth mentioning that a bronze dagger with inscriptions was unearthed in Dashangzhuang, which is called "Gu's left". According to Li Xueqin, a pre Qin historian and paleographer, the Ge is a weapon of the Wei army, and its age coincides with the battle of Maling. However, there is no unearthed cultural relic and document in Maling in other places. This is not only completely consistent with the historical records, but also proves that there was a large-scale war here. In the nearby sample mountain, there is Pang Juan's tomb at the top of the mountain. Under the tomb, there is an ancient "Anzi Temple" in front of the mountain. It is said that sun Funian and Pang Juan built it for Pang Juan. In the north of the temple, there is an ancient stele with no characters.
