Gangwan street, a street under the jurisdiction of Rongcheng City, Weihai City, Shandong Province, is located in the south of Rongcheng City, bordering on the sea in the East and south, Renhe Town in the West and Chishan street in the north. The administrative area is 30.77 square kilometers. By the end of 2011, the total population of Gangwan street was 65000.
In 1999, three villages of shangtanjia, xiatanjia and Taoyuan in Dongshan Town and two villages of qingmuzhai and Shanqian in Ningjin town were assigned to Shidao town. On June 28, 2000, Chishan town was merged into Shidao town. On April 9, 2001, Dongshan Town and wanglian town were merged into Shidao town. In 2005, Shidao town was abolished and the original Shidao town (1982) area was set as Gangwan street. As of June 2020, Gangwan street has jurisdiction over 10 communities and 3 administrative villages.
In 2011, the total revenue of Gangwan street was 132.91 million yuan, an increase of 27.7% over the previous year. The local fiscal revenue was 72.66 million yuan, an increase of 27.9% over the previous year. In 2011, the total output value of agriculture reached 914.3 billion yuan, accounting for 13% of GDP. The per capita net income of farmers is 11594 yuan.
History of construction
In April 1940, the Anti Japanese democratic government was established, which belonged to the Sixth District of Rongcheng county. In December of the same year, it was changed to the ninth district.
In March of the thirtieth year of the Republic of China (1941), Jueshan township was the seventh district.
In February 1942, it belonged to Longshan district.
In 1945, it belonged to Chishan district. In September of the same year, it belonged to Shidao district.
In November 1946, the Shidao special zone was abolished. Shidao district belongs to Shidao city.
In 1950, Shidao city was abolished as Rongcheng county.
In March 1951, there were five townships in the District, namely dayudao, Zhangjia, Jiangjia, chejiao and Shidao street.
In April 1954, after the addition of Shidao County, it was divided into Shidao town and the first district of Shidao county.
In February 1956, Shidao county was abolished and returned to Rongcheng county.
In January 1957, it was built in Shidao town.
In September 1958, Xianfeng commune was established, and in October of the same year, it was renamed Shidao commune.
In December 1981, Shidao town was restored.

As of June 2020, Gangwan street has jurisdiction over 10 communities: Xinglong community, Yugang community, yinghongshan community, Tuoshan community, dayudao community, zhangjiacun community, fishermen wharf community, chejiaohe community, Huanshan community and shanhaiwan community, and 3 administrative villages: Paotai East Village, muyunan village and xichejiaohe village. The office is located at 58 Shamao Road, Shidao.

Shidao River, the main river in Gangwan street, is 2.8 km long and 9 m wide on average. It is mainly used for drainage of the mountain system to the north of Tubu mountain. There is a 120000 square meter Pingtang in its upstream.
