Miao Guan town

Miaoguan Town, belonging to Sishui County, Jining City, Shandong Province, is located in the east of Sishui County, with Quanlin town in the East, Sizhang town in the south, Jihe street in the west, Dahuanggou Township and Xingcun town across the Sihe River in the north, covering an administrative area of 114.06 square kilometers.

In the first year of the Republic of China (1912), it was the Miao Museum area; in 1995, the township was relocated as the Miao Town; by the end of 2018, the Miao Town had 53871 registered residence population; as of June 2020, 63 administrative villages were under the jurisdiction of Miao Town;

History of construction

After the first year of the Republic of China (1912), it was called miaoguan district.

In 1958, Dongfeng commune was established.

In 1962, it was called Miao Guan commune.

In February 1984, it was changed to miaoguan district.

In 1986, the district was withdrawn and the township was merged into miaoguan township.

In 1995, the township was set up as miaoguan town.
