Jiushan town of Linqu County is located in the southwest mountainous area of Weifang City, at the junction of Weifang, Zibo and Linyi, and at the junction of Linqu, Yiyuan and Yishui. The town has 64 administrative villages, 51700 people, a total area of 254 square kilometers, 54435 mu of arable land. Jiushan town was formerly known as Jiushan people's commune. Yishan and Baisha townships were designated as Jiushan town in 1984. Except for a small number of Hui people, the rest are all Han people. The town is located in the upper reaches of the MI River, high in the South and low in the north, with mountains accounting for more than 70%. With many mountains and broad ranges, the area suitable for forestry is more than 76500 mu, which has always been good at developing forestry. By 1987, more than 56000 Mu had been planted. The timber reserves are more than 56300 cubic meters, and the annual forestry income is more than 200000 yuan. In 1987, the production of sheep wool in the town was 9000 kg.
