Zhangwang town belongs to Tengzhou City, Shandong Province, located in the southwest of Shandong Province, the southernmost tip of Tengzhou City, 104 national highway runs through the whole territory, Beijing Shanghai railway passes along the eastern border. Zhangwang was the capital of Xuzhou in the Xia, Shang and Zhou dynasties. In the Qin Dynasty, it was located in Xue county. In the Sui Dynasty, it belonged to Teng County. In the Republic of China, it was the seventh district of Teng County. Zhangwang town was established in 1984. In history, Xi Zhong, Zhong Hui, Xue Zhu, Mao Sui and other celebrities were born. In ancient times, shaoziyu, the Yellow Emperor, was granted the title of Xue (now Zhangwang Town, the ancient city of Xue). In the Xia Dynasty, Yu granted Xi Zhong, a descendant of Yu, to Xue. In the Shang Dynasty, Tang granted Xi Zhong the twelfth sun Zhonghui to Xue. In the early years of the Western Zhou Dynasty, King Wu of the Zhou Dynasty also granted Xue a descendant of the state of Xue. In the 44th year of Xianwang of Zhou Dynasty (325 BC), Qi destroyed Xue. In the 18th year of King Xian of Zhou Dynasty (321 BC), King min of Qi granted Tian Ying (named Jingguo Jun) to Xue. From then on to the period of the Republic of China, Zhangwang town now belongs to Tengxian county. from the Tang Dynasty to the Five Dynasties, it belonged to Xuzhou, Henan Province. In 1182, tengyang Prefecture was established in the 22nd year of Jin Dading. In 1184, tengyang was changed into Tengzhou. In 1369, Tengzhou was abolished, and Tengxian belonged to Jining Prefecture, Shandong Province. In 1385, Yanzhou was promoted to Yanzhou Prefecture, and Tengxian county was changed to Yanzhou Prefecture. During the orthodox period of Ming Dynasty, Zhang Wang was a member of Xuecheng society in the ritual township of Tengxian county. In 1672, Zhang Wang was Li Babao in Tengxian county and still belonged to Yanzhou Prefecture. From Jiaqing to Guangxu, Zhangwang area was the Sixth District of Tengxian county. In 1913, Teng County belonged to Dainan road. In 1931, Zhang Wang became Xuecheng Township, the seventh district of Tengxian county. In 1942, the local Anti Japanese democratic regime in Xuecheng township was established and renamed Zhangwang Township, which is still the seventh district of Teng County. In October 1944, Zhangwang township was transferred to the seventh district of Lincheng County, and the district office was located in Zhangwang village. In 1952, Lincheng county was renamed Xuecheng county. In 1956, Xuecheng county was abolished and Xuecheng District of Teng County was established. The seventh district also belongs to Teng County, which governs seven townships of Huancheng, Liqiao, zhoulou, Zhangwang, Chaihudian, Yinzhuang and Longshan. In the summer of 1958, the district was withdrawn and the township was merged. Today, Zhangwang is divided into Zhangwang Township and Liqiao township. Zhangwang town is located in the southwest of Shandong Province, at the southernmost end of Tengzhou City.
