Nanlushan town

Nanlushan Town, belonging to Yiyuan County, Zibo City, Shandong Province, is located in the north of Yiyuan County, bordering Linqu County in the East, Yuezhuang town in the southeast, Lishan street, Nanma town and Lucun town in the south, Xinzhuang Town in Gangcheng District of Laiwu City in the northwest and Boshan town in Boshan District in the north. The area is 206.36 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, 35804 people registered residence.

In December 1968, it was renamed Tumen commune. In June 1984, it was changed into Tumen town. In October 2010, Tumen town merged with some villages in Sancha Township to form nanlushan town. In June 2020, nanlushan town governs 46 administrative villages.

In 2018, there were 194 industrial enterprises in nanlushan Town, including 19 Industrial Enterprises above Designated Size and 128 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

Historical evolution

Since Yuan Dynasty, it belongs to Northwest Township of Yishui County and North Township of Mengyin County.

In September 1958, Lushan commune was established; in December of the same year, it was renamed Jiuhui commune.

In June 1965, Jiuhui commune was abolished and merged into Nanma district.

In May 1966, the former Jiuhui commune was set up in Nanma District, and Tumen district was established with Shandong Machinery Factory No.1 and No.2.

In December 1968, it was renamed Tumen commune.

In June 1984, it was changed into Tumen town.

In October 2010, Tumen town merged with some villages in Sancha Township to form nanlushan town.

Most of nanlushan town is mountainous and hilly terrain. The terrain is high in the west, low in the East, low in the South and high in the north. The ground elevation is generally 400-600 meters.
