Yuanyuan Town, subordinate to Boshan District, Zibo City, Shandong Province, is located in the southeast of Boshan District, upstream of Zihe River, adjacent to chishang town in the southeast, Boshan town in the south, Badou town in the West and Zichuan District in the north, with an administrative area of 80.88 square kilometers.

Kaiyuan cave
Kaiyuan cave is located in Malanyu, Donggao village, 4km southwest of Yuanyuan Town, 1km away from Quanhe scenic spot. The cave was formed 400000 years ago. There are both magnificent natural landscape and Neolithic cultural relics in the cave. According to the evaluation of karst geological experts, Kaiyuan cave has unique natural landscape and is called "the first cave in Shandong". Erlang Mountain
Erlang mountain, also known as Changshou mountain, is adjacent to Zishui River in the East, Jinyin mountain in the South and Yuanyuan village in the north. The mountains are lush with pines and cypresses, ancient vines and walls, and temples. There are two caves on the cliff of Shandong side, namely master Ma cave and master Zhao cave. The cave is deep and mysterious. There are several steles outside the cave and several cliff inscriptions on the cave wall. According to the inscriptions, temples were built in Erlang Mountain in the Tang Dynasty, and the cultural landscape was abandoned several times. In 1992, the ancient buildings in Erlangshan were restored again. Yuanyuan town has a rich cultural heritage. According to folk legend, the story of Meng Jiangnu crying for the great wall comes from Yuanyuan.
