Gengzhuangqiao town

Gengzhuangqiao Town, subordinate to Ningjin County, Xingtai City, Hebei Province, is located in the south of Ningjin County, at the junction of Xinhe County in the East, Julu County and Longyao County in the south, dacaozhuang management area in the West and Dongwang town in the north. It is 18 kilometers away from Ningjin County People's government, with a total area of 133.12 square meters.

Before the Anti Japanese War, gengzhuangqiao town belonged to the Southern District of Ningjin County; in July 1985, it was changed from gengzhuangqiao township to gengzhuangqiao town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of Geng Zhuang bridge was 68322. As of June 2020, gengzhuangqiao town has 38 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the people's Government of gengzhuangqiao town is located in caojiatai village.

History of construction

Before the Anti Japanese War, gengzhuangqiao town belonged to the Southern District of Ningjin County.

In April 1940, it belonged to three districts of Ningnan County.

In October 1949, it belonged to three districts of Ningjin County.

In 1958, it belonged to Funing commune.

In May 1961, it was divided into three communes: gengzhuangqiao, mengjiazhuang and Changlu.

In January 1984, it was changed from gengzhuangqiao commune to gengzhuangqiao township.

In July 1985, it was changed from gengzhuangqiao township to gengzhuangqiao town.

In December 1995, mengjiazhuang Township and Changlu Township were merged into gengzhuangqiao town.
