Beilou Township, subordinate to Longyao County, Xingtai City, Hebei Province, is located in the southwest of Longyao County, with weijiazhuang town in the East, Renze District in the south, Dongliang town in the West and Longyao town in the north. It is 13 kilometers away from the people's Government of Longyao County, with a total area of 37.96 square kilometers.
During the period of the Republic of China, Beilou Township belonged to the third district of Longyao County; in 1984, it was changed from Beilou commune to Beilou township. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in North Tower township was 35949. As of June 2020, Beilou township has jurisdiction over 20 administrative villages, and the Township People's government is located in Beilou village.
In 2018, there were 15 industrial enterprises in Beilou Township, including one above scale and 18 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
During the period of the Republic of China, Beilou Township belonged to the third district of Longyao county.
In 1953, Beilou township was established.
In 1958, it belonged to Dongliang commune.
In 1961, Beilou commune was founded from Dongliang commune.
In 1984, it was changed from Beilou commune to Beilou township.
