TianDun town
TianDun Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Guangxin District, Shangrao City, Jiangxi Province, is located about 23 kilometers southeast of Guangxin District, Shangrao City, Jiangxi Province. During the reign of Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty (1756-1786), the surname Jiang in Fujian built the village on Tianfan mound, so it was named "TianDun". The administrative area is 90.24 square kilometers with a population of 61002 (2017). Located in the central axis of Xinhua highway, it is the junction of Huangshi, Huating and Yangkou Town, Guangfeng district. TianDun town has 14 village committees, including Liuyuan, Huangkeng, Shuangyuan, Dongkeng, Hejia, Liaojia, Hutan, Ruwu, Cenfeng, Lengshui, Huangshi, Qifeng, Hongmen and Changtang. The town government is located in TianDun, 23 kilometers away from Guangxin district. Xintian Qiancheng highway crosses Jingbei. Ding stream runs through the middle. Agricultural production of rice, rich in tea oil, persimmon. Shangrao pear is a special product. Coal mines, craft bamboo weaving, wood carving, sandalwood factories and mines and other township enterprises.
Market day
The first, fourth and seventh days of the lunar calendar are special days for farmers in TianDun Town, Guangxin District, Shangrao City. On this day, many villagers will go to the market one after another. As long as they find an open space within the prescribed scope, they can sell their own agricultural products or special products. According to Hakka people's colloquial, they generally call villages and towns as fairs, and the conventional market trading days as "fairs". When the market day came, the farmers carried their own grain and daily necessities to the villages and towns for trading, and the peddlers were even more moved by the wind, transporting the goods from the city to the market and shouting loudly. With the change of time, everything has a new look. The fairs in TianDun are more orderly and colorful. A wide range of commodities are eye-catching: clothing stalls, fruit stalls, vegetable stalls, electronic stalls, bookstores, snack bars, cold drink shops, supermarkets and so on. Some of them are in cities, and some of them are not in cities.
Urban construction
After the opening of Shanghua highway and the abundant anthracite in Dawan and other places, TianDun street has become more and more prosperous. The highway from Hutan to TianDun, and markets are built on both sides of the highway. Since 1979, 116 coal mines have been operated by county office, community (township) office, team office, joint office and individual business. The coal has been sold to Jinhua, Wenzhou and other places in Zhejiang Province, and there is an endless stream of coal trucks, which has promoted the prosperity of town business. Besides state-owned, collective and individual stores, there are 17 trading points for bamboo and wood, cattle, grain, farm tools, electrical appliances, seed, general merchandise, eggs, meat and vegetables. There are traders from Shangrao, Guangfeng, Zhejiang, Fujian and other places on the market day, with daily turnover of about 50000 yuan. The products of woodcarving factory, bamboo weaving factory and incense factory are exported to Europe, America, Japan, Australia and Southeast Asia. On March 5, 1987, the world economist in Washington, D.C. of the U.S. and western German businessmen visited here.
TianDun town has been identified as the key construction town of "half an hour economic circle" by the city and county. In 2003, Shangrao Haitian Industrial Co., Ltd. invested 10 million yuan to build Tianfeng market with 316 stalls and 56 shops, covering an area of 10 mu. At present, nearly 12000 square meters of residential houses have been built, with unified European architectural style and unified wall paint. A new business district has been shown in people's vision, and the market day is naturally lively. There are all kinds of local products grown by farmers themselves and fresh goods wholesale from other places.
TianDun town relies on the construction of market town to improve its quality, strengthen the central market town, and manage the urban construction in strict accordance with the overall planning of the market town. Through the operation of the project, the station, cultural and leisure square, sewage and flood control and other infrastructure projects and 4500 tons of tap water and drinking water project are constructed. The "three lines" (power line, telephone line and closed circuit line) of the town are reconstructed. The widening and pouring works of Liaojia guangfengjiandi and TianDun Yingjia highways are started. Relying on Xinhua highway, the Hutan TianDun highway is planned to be 1.8 km long and 25 m wide TianDun becomes the center of logistics, information flow and capital flow in the surrounding areas, and promotes the rapid development of town economy.
Historical evolution
In the sixth year of Qingyuan (1200) of the Southern Song Dynasty, the lake was crowded with people. Wang Shimin, a famous scholar, gave a lecture here. Zhu Xi left his poem "less than 20 years in the lake". Hutan is rich in zaoli, with good quality. It is exported to Shanghai, Hangzhou and other places. It is the local political, economic and cultural center.
In 2006, the former Huangshi township was abolished and merged into the city. In 2017, the administrative area of TianDun town was 90.24 square kilometers, with 61002 permanent residents.
TianDun Township
It was TianDun Township in 1949, commune in 1958, township in 1984 and town in 1991. In 1997, it covers an area of 50 square kilometers and has a population of 31000. It governs 12 administrative villages including TianDun, Licang, Liaojia, Hutan, Hejia, Dongkeng, pingmen, shaodun, Shuangyuan, Huangkeng, Ruwu and Liuyuan. At the end of 2002, it covers an area of 50 square kilometers and has a population of 35590. It has jurisdiction over one neighborhood committee and 11 administrative villages: Xinjian Road, Liuyuan, Huangkeng, Shuangyuan, Dongkeng, TianDun, Hejia, Liaojia, Licang, Hutan, pingmen and Ruwu.
Huangshi Township
Huangshi township was established in 1949, changed to commune in 1958, and restored to township in 1984. In 1997, with an area of 39 square kilometers and a population of 19000, it has jurisdiction over 10 administrative villages, including Lengshui, Qifeng, Huangshi, Lujiang, Hongmen, Zaoshan, shihui'ao, changtangyuan, Cenfeng and Pingshan. At the end of 2002, it covers an area of 39 square kilometers and has a population of 215700. It has jurisdiction over eight administrative villages: Lengshui, Qifeng, Huangshi, Hongmen, Zaoshan, shihuiao, Changtang village and Cenfeng. In 2006, Huangshi township was abolished and the completed construction system was transferred to TianDun town.
