Fenggang town
Fenggang town, subordinate to Yihuang County, Fuzhou City, Jiangxi Province, is located in the northwest of Yihuang County, adjacent to Tangyin town in the East, Chongren County in the west, Erdu town in the South and taopi town in the north, with a total area of 234 square kilometers. It governs 20 administrative villages, 7 communities and 145 villager groups. In late 2018, Fenggang had 64 thousand registered residence population.

Historical evolution
Fenggang town has a long history. It was first built in Wu Dynasty and was decided to be built in Zong Dynasty. In the third year of Zong Kaibao (970), the county government moved from the east to the West. With the beauty of Phoenix and the undulating terrain of gangling, it was renamed Fenggang. Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasty died. During the period of the Republic of China, it was divided into districts (towns).
After the founding of the people's Republic of China, it belonged to the Xinglong and Shizi Street governments of the first district (Fenggang District). In 1954, the two streets merged to form Fenggang town. In 1968, it was renamed Hongqi Town. In 1970, it was renamed Fenggang town commune and expanded to 16 natural villages in the suburbs year by year. In September 1980, it was renamed Fenggang town. In November 2001, Chengnan Township and tanfang Township were merged into Fenggang town.
