Xiwang Town, subordinate to Baixiang County, Xingtai City, Hebei Province, is located in the south of Baixiang County, bordering Gucheng town of Longyao County in the East, Shankou town of Jiangyao County in the south, Wangjiazhuang town in the west, and Baixiang town in the north. It is 4 kilometers away from the people's government of Baixiang County, with a total area of 36.6 square kilometers.
During the period of the Republic of China, Xiwang town belonged to the Second District of Baixiang County; in December 2007, it was changed from Xiwang town to Xiwang town. By the end of 2018, the population of West Wang town registered residence was 33796. As of June 2020, Xiwang town has 17 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the town people's government is located in Xiwang village.

History of construction
During the period of the Republic of China, it belonged to the Second District of Baixiang County.
In 1958, it belonged to Baixiang commune.
In 1961, Xiwang commune was established from Baixiang commune.
In 1984, Xiwang commune was changed into Xiwang township.
In 1996, Nanlu township was assigned to Xiwang township.
In December 2007, it was changed from Xiwang township to Xiwang town.
