Heyuan Township, belonging to Lichuan County, Fuzhou City, Jiangxi Province, is located in the northern suburb of Lichuan County. It intersects Longhu town of Nancheng County in the north and West, connects Tanxi Township in the south, Huashan Town and xunkou town in the East, and Qiufang town of RiFeng town in the southwest. History of construction
In the early days of the founding of the people's Republic of China, it belonged to Heyuan Township in the Second District of Lichuan; in 1958, it belonged to chating commune; in 1961, it was separated from chating commune and established Heyuan commune; in 1965, Zifu commune was merged into Heyuan commune; in 1968, Heyuan commune was merged into xunkou commune (formerly chating commune); in 1974, Heyuan commune was set aside; in 1984, Heyuan commune was changed into Heyuan township.

Heyuan township is located in the northeast of Lichuan County. It intersects Shuihu village of Hufang Township in the southeast, Tanxi Township in the southwest, Longhu town of Nancheng County in the northwest, Huashan Town and xunkou town in the northeast. The maximum distance between East and West is 12 kilometers, and the maximum distance between North and south is 8 kilometers, with a total area of 78 square kilometers.

Heyuan township has Zifu River, which originates from Zhouhu village of Huashan reclamation farm. It flows through Sheshang, Luyou and Zifu villages from east to west and flows into Hongmen Reservoir. The river basin is 15 kilometers long and covers an area of 1360.6 square kilometers.
