Bajing town is subordinate to Gao'an City, Jiangxi Province.
General situation
Bajing town is located in the southeast of Gao'an city. It is located in the intersection center of the "Golden Triangle" of Gao'an, Fengcheng and Zhangshu in central Jiangxi. Ganyue and hurui expressways are connected with each other, and Gaohu first-class highway runs through the north and south. It is known as the "leading thoroughfare of three cities, two rivers and ten provinces". The town covers an area of 96.33 square kilometers, the built-up area of the market town is 8.5 square kilometers, and the planning area is 10 square kilometers. It has jurisdiction over 11 administrative districts, 7 communities, and 69 natural villages, with a population of 105800, including 75800 permanent residents. In recent years, centering on the goal of "brand new eight sceneries, sprint top 500", the economic and social development of the whole town has achieved high-quality leap forward development. It has been successively rated as national civilized town, national ecological town, National Garden Town, national key town, National Top 1000 comprehensive strength town, provincial demonstration town in Jiangxi Province, comprehensive pilot town of new urbanization in Jiangxi Province, and economically developed town in Jiangxi Province The reform of the administrative system was reported to the central government for inclusion in the scope of reform, and the special award of the top ten charming towns in Jiangxi Province was awarded.

History of construction
Bajing was originally under the jurisdiction of Jiancheng county. Tang Wude five years (622) built County renamed Gao'an County, Bajing is under the jurisdiction of Gao'an county.
The earliest written records can be found in the annals of Gao'an County by Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty. It is located in Qidu and Badu of Xinfeng No.1 Township and Jiudu and Shidu of Xinfeng No.2 township.
During the period of the Republic of China, Bajing was under the jurisdiction of the second district government. At the beginning of the founding of new China, Gao'an was divided into seven districts, and Bajing was under the jurisdiction of the Sixth District.
Gao'an was liberated on July 10, 1949. On July 14, the people's Government of Gao'an county was established. In August, the original Baojia system was abolished. At that time, Gao'an implemented the system of district and township. The county was divided into 7-12 districts, with six districts (in Xinjie).
In 1951, Gao'an was divided into 14 districts, and Bajing was under the jurisdiction of the sixth and fourteenth districts.
In 1957, Gao'an was divided into six districts, with eight sceneries belonging to Ligang, zaogang and Guanshang townships.
In June 1958, the district was withdrawn and the township was merged. Bajing was called Ligang township.
In October 1961, the scale of the commune team was reduced. The eight sceneries belonged to Ligang, Guanshang commune and Ligang town.
In March 1964, the two communes of Ligang and Guanshang merged into Ligang commune.
In 1966, when the "Cultural Revolution" began, the commune set up a revolutionary committee.
In December 1968, Lijiang and Dusheng communes merged into Bajing commune.
In November 1972, Bajing and Ducheng commune were separated. The place of Bajing was Bajing commune (Ligang town). Since then, the administrative region of Bajing has been stable.
On April 6, 1984, with the approval of the provincial people's government, Bajing town was established. At the same time, the town of Ligang was abolished. Since then, Bajing has been an established town.
On December 8, 1993, with the approval of the State Council, Gao'an county was abolished and Gao'an city was established. The territory is Bajing Town, Gao'an city.

Division evolution
During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, the eight scenic areas were the 70 or 90 capitals of Xinfeng No.1 Township and Xinfeng No.2 township.
In 1951, the surnames of Huang and Yan in Xiantian village were merged into Shanglin village; the surname of Yang in Xili village, 0.50 km north of houtang village, was merged into houtang; and the surname of naozou in Jianshan was merged into Baoli village.
In October 1961, the territory is a new block, with two communes, Li Gang and Guan Shang, which are respectively located in Tian Tian Fu Temple (now Li Gang administrative village) and Shi tou Du Shang Village. In the same year, the town of Ligang was established and the Xi clan ancestral hall was stationed in Ligang. Non agricultural household registration within the jurisdiction of the town government (including mining areas).
In 1965, Shanglin group was changed into Daixi farm; Zhukeng group was changed into Zhukeng improved variety farm; Guanshang group was divided into Guanshang and Zhangkeng groups. There are 19 teams in total.
In December 1968, the former Lijiang commune's 19 brigades were merged into 8 brigades. Xishan brigade, Zhukeng improved seed farm, Gaoxi village of Gaoxi farm and Bajing brigade of Dusheng commune were merged into Xishan brigade.
In November 1972, Bajing and Ducheng commune were separated, and the territory was Bajing commune (including Ligang town), with 8 brigades adjusted to 12 brigades. Yujia village is a member of Huaishan brigade.
In September 1996, the neighborhood committee of Bajing community was set up in Bajing market town.
On October 10, 2003, Xishan village committee, Nantou village committee and aoling village committee were merged into Xinanling village committee, which was stationed in Xinqiao.
In 2005, shangfan village of Xinanling village committee was assigned to the neighborhood committee of Bajing community.
In 2007, Bajing was divided into 11 village committees, 1 neighborhood committee and 69 natural villages.

Location context
Bajing town is located in the hinterland of central Jiangxi, adjacent to Fengcheng in the East and Zhangshu in the south. It is located in the junction center of fengzhanggao city economic circle. The total area is 96.33 square kilometers, and the built-up area of the town is 6.5 square kilometers.

In addition to the widely developed upper Permian Leping coal measures and lower Permian strata, there are also pre Sinian to Silurian, Devonian, Carboniferous, Triassic, Jurassic, Cretaceous, tertiary and Quaternary strata exposed in Bajing town. There are granite, metamorphic rock, carbonate rock, clastic rock and coal seam in the territory. Granite and metamorphic rocks are distributed in the lower part of zaogangling, shangshutan and xiashutan of Xinanling. Carbonate rocks and clastic rocks are distributed in Zhangkeng, Ligang, hujiafang, shitoudu, Huaishan and southwest lingguoxi.

The geomorphic features of Bajing are mainly low hills and plains, which are mainly controlled by geological structures and are low mountains and hills composed of tectonic denuded rocks or mudstones. The general terrain is high in the northwest and central part, inclining to the southeast, and the terrain gradually becomes low and flat. The area along Xiaojiang River in the southeast is plain. The altitude of hills is generally 40-100 meters. The altitude of Dajiling is 110 meters, which is the highest point in the territory; the altitude of Sheshang village is 22.40 meters, which is the lowest point in the territory and the lowest point in Gao'an city.

limestone
Limestone is mainly distributed in Ligang and zaogang areas, with gray color, pure quality and 55.60% CaO content. It is a high-quality raw material for firing lime, producing cement and calcium carbonate powder. The reserves are still large. There are limestone at the top and bottom of the coal measure strata. Except for a few exposed to the ground, most ore bodies are low-lying.
Porcelain clay
Porcelain clay is mainly distributed in houtang and Ancheng of Ligang village and Chengxi and Shutan of Xinanling village. The pulse width and length of the vein have a certain scale. The color is gray black and white after high temperature calcination. Its chemical composition contains 69.8% silica, 20.86% alumina, 1.07% ferric oxide and 6.01% loss on ignition, which can be used as raw materials for building ceramics. Since 1980, it has been used by Zhen porcelain factory.
