Towboat town

Tugboat town is a town under the jurisdiction of Fengcheng City, Jiangxi Province. It is located in the west of Fengcheng, on the Bank of Ganjiang River, with a total area of 67.7 square kilometers. It has jurisdiction over 21 administrative villages and 1 neighborhood committee, 121 natural villages, 163 villager groups, and 51258 permanent residents (2017).

Tugboat town has been a gathering place of merchants since ancient times, known as "tugboat port". National Highway 105 and Zhejiang Jiangxi railway pass through the town. Ganjiang river stretches for tens of kilometers, forming a good traffic pattern of "three parallel lines" of waterway, national highway and railway. It is 13 kilometers away from Fengcheng City and Zhangshu City respectively, and only 70 kilometers away from Nanchang, the capital city of Western Jiangsu Province. The traffic is very convenient.
